On Wednesday evening, as the broadcast network evening newscasts reported on a shooting attack on a Kroger in  the Louisville, Kentucky, area, ABC stood out in not mentioning an armed citizen who shot at the gunman and might have prevented more shootings.

The midterm elections are less than two short weeks away, so showbiz proggies have doubled down on the pro-Democratic rhetoric. In order to market to the young, hip listeners out there, Billboard featured a spread of famous musicians’ reasons for voting this November. Would it be too obvious to say that that their opinions skew radically left-wing and anti-Trump?

Since this was a Thursday, we had yet another obnoxious episode of Sarah Silverman’s Hulu show I Love You, America to suffer through. In her latest attempt to degrade the right, she now claims that the country is “dog shit,” with Republicans outright suppressing minority votes. Sooner or later, she has to run out of curse words for us meany right-wingers.

Hitting viewers over the head when it comes to their agenda on gun control isn’t new for Hollywood, but it sure rings hollow on a show like Fox's Star, where characters are pointing guns at each other at an alarming rate. Past seasons have involved gun deaths as well as main characters threatening to shoot friends and family members over disagreements.

The USA Network show The Purge, based off the horror movie franchise of the same title, can never be accused of subtlety. It continues to push a liberal agenda in the second episode, this time blaming small government for the Purge.

Appearing as a guest on Monday's Morning Joe, MSNBC contributor Steve Schmidt started railing against Republican candidates running in this year's Senate and congressional elections, applying the words "kook," "nut," "crook" and "weirdo" to several different candidates.

During his 3:00 p.m. ET hour show on Monday, MSNBC anchor Ali Velshi devoted a segment to criticizing Florida’s gun laws and seemed to blame a lack of strict firearm regulation in the state for Sunday’s shooting at a video gaming competition in Jacksonville. However, just seconds later, the host was informed by a reporter that the shooter bought his guns legally in the state of Maryland.
