On the most recent edition of NBC’s Meet the Depressed, host Kristen Welker tried to guilt-trip Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) over his vote for the Laken Riley Act, which President Donald Trump signed into law. Welker quickly found that Kelly wasn’t going to take the bait:

For years, Spanish-language news media have been dominated by networks fully immersed in the immigration-industrial complex and acting as de facto clients of the Democratic Party. And for years, we called for an alternative. A recent interview on Fox Noticias demonstrates the importance of such an alternative.

With President Trump back in office, the hostile media have gone back to showing interest in presidential assertions made “without evidence”. This Trump coverage classic made its return as the media melted down over Trump calling out hiring practices at the FAA that placed a heavy emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). In so doing, the media actually ignored a ton of evidence.

If there was any doubt that the Regime Media have fully transitioned back into Resistance Mode, one need look no further than coverage of the Office of Management and Budget’s pullback of its funding freeze memo. Without evidence, ABC and CBS misrepresented the rescission of the memo as a full rescission of the decision to freeze funding for certain government programs.

Spanish-language news media often bill present themselves as advocates for the community that relies on them for news coverage in a language that they understand- often the ONLY language they understand. But time and time again, they prove themselves to be leftwing indoctrinators working against the community they purport to serve.

As the reality of the Trump Administration’s will to enforce our borders sets in, the Resistance Media scramble to adjust. Coverage of the latest round of raids in New York City and elsewhere was mixed at best.

Despite being recently found liable and punished for defamation, the once and former World Leader in News persists on smearing Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk by flogging the dead-and-debunked Salute Hoax. 

The new and revamped CBS Evening News emerged after much hype and a treacly send-off for its prior anchor, Norah O’Donnell. After watching its maiden broadcast one is left wondering: is it too late for Norah to come back? 

A little over three months ago, ABC’s Martha Raddatz gave us one of the all-time moments when she tried to dismiss then-Senator JD Vance’s arguments on immigration by indicating that foreign terrorist organization El Tren de Aragua had only seized control of “a handful” of apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado. No dumb media hoax is complete until MSNBC’s resident bitter race arsonist jumps into the pile-on. Thus, Joy Reid has entered into the debunked and defamatory narrative suggesting that Elon Musk performed a Nazi salute during President Trump’s inaugural festivities.

President Joe Biden’s denunciations of an emerging “oligarchy” and “tech-industrial complex” appear to be, beyond a ham-handed attempt at an Eisenhower moment of his own, a clarion call to the media in the waning days of his presidency. If network news is to serve as a guide, it appears that the media have heeded the call.

Predictably, the prime time hosts at MSNBC oohed and aahed over President Joe Biden’s farewell address with a verve normally seen emanating from television production studios in Pyongyang. But in this case, they went above and beyond their customary cheerleading. They also worked hard to bolster the post-speech narrative of the perils of a Trump-adjacent oligarchy.

A carefully elaborated media smear campaign, combining the worst elements of the Bork and Kavanaugh confirmation processes, crashed and burned. Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth appears to have bolstered his confirmation chances, and the media were not thrilled to report that.
