Nets Hype ‘Major New Controversy’ of ‘Hardline’ Immigration Plan

After Wednesday’s network evening newscasts rushed to slam President Trump’s immigration reform proposal, on Thursday, the morning shows of NBC, ABC, and CBS continued the work of trashing the “hardline” policy and framing it as a “major new controversy” for the administration designed to only appeal to the President’s “hardcore supporters.”

Wednesday was quite the day for the feckless CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta as he had his clock cleaned by White House policy adviser Stephen Miller over immigration. CNN gave Acosta hourly opportunities to change the narrative, but they did quite the opposite by only reinforcing Acosta’s derisory behavior masquerading as moralism.
