After Wednesday’s network evening newscasts rushed to slam President Trump’s immigration reform proposal, on Thursday, the morning shows of NBC, ABC, and CBS continued the work of trashing the “hardline” policy and framing it as a “major new controversy” for the administration designed to only appeal to the President’s “hardcore supporters.” 

NPR aired a completely one-sided segment on Wednesday's Morning Edition that targeted the Attorney General Jeff Sessions's leadership of the Justice Department. Wednesday was quite the day for the feckless CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta as he had his clock cleaned by White House policy adviser Stephen Miller over immigration. CNN gave Acosta hourly opportunities to change the narrative, but they did quite the opposite by only reinforcing Acosta’s derisory behavior masquerading as moralism.

Talk about a bad day to be a member of the liberal media. Licking their wounds from White House official Stephen Miller sparing with the press corps on Wednesday, MSNBC’s Deadline: White House denounced Miller as the kid who probably got bullied in school while his words were filled with “xenophobia” and nothing but “white identity politics.”

After all three broadcast networks fretted Wednesday morning over the Justice Department taking steps to challenge Affirmative Action policies that may discriminate against white students, on her 12 p.m. ET hour MSNBC show, anchor Andrea Mitchell worried the move had the “potential to reopen long decided cases of Affirmative Action, which is alarming civil rights groups and academic institutions…

Prior to his epic thrashing of CNN’s Jim Acosta on Wednesday, White House policy adviser Stephen Miller threw down with self-described liberal hack New York Times correspondent Glenn Thrush over the administration’s new immigration proposals through the proposed RAISE Act.

While on his book tour, Republican Senator Jeff Flake (Ariz.) stopped by Tuesday’s Hardball for an interview in which host Chris Matthews heaped effusive praise on Flake’s book Conscience of a Conservative as one that’s not only “tough” and “hard-hitting” on the GOP and President Trump, but a “very compelling” one too.

During an interview with South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham on Tuesday’s NBC Today, co-hosts Matt Lauer and Hoda Kotb fretted that Donald Trump was single-handedly destroying the American presidency. CNN host Alisyn Camerota has been making appearances recently to discuss her new book, Amanda Wakes Up, which is a fictional work that is nevertheless based in part on her past experiences working as a FNC host for the weekend edition of Fox and Friends. On Sunday, both NBC’s Meet the Press and ABC’s This Week were so desperate to protect ObamaCare that the hosts interrogated Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price and demanded that he accept the failing law.
