During Tuesday evening's edition of his prime-time show, Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity spent almost nine minutes hammering CNN correspondent Jim Acosta, who was “desperately trying to get back into the White House” after his “hard pass” was taken away last week. That action led the cable network to file a lawsuit against President Donald Trump and other high-ranking Republican officials.

On Monday night’s Special Report, Fox News anchor Bret Baier took time to correct false reporting from MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell earlier that day claiming incompetent Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes was a “Republican,” when, in fact, the Florida official was a lifelong Democrat. 

On Tuesday, NBC’s Today show was giddy with excitement over Democratic Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema winning the extremely close Senate race in Arizona against Republican Congresswoman Martha McSally. The word “wow” was tossed out three times during a two-minute report on the straggling midterm election result, along with hopes that the usually red state was turning “purple.”
