Latino
February 27th, 2018 1:57 PM

Univision Pushes LGBTQ Agenda, Discreetly Promotes ENDA
Latino
February 12th, 2018 11:41 PM
Today's story out of Miami occupies the sweet spot in the Venn diagram comprised of Univision's anti-Catholicism and its strident LGBTQ advocacy, far from the mainstream of the network's viewership. The network pulled off a neat trick- casting aspersions on longstanding religious freedom protections while slyly advocating for the proposed law that would destroy them.

If you’ve ever watched The Big Bang Theory or its new spin-off Young Sheldon, you already know that both shows love to remind viewers how much main character Sheldon doesn’t believe in God and likes to bash Christianity. But just in case you missed the 5,924,835 references that came before, Thursday night’s episode of Young Sheldon, “Demons, Sunday School, and Prime Numbers,” made sure to remind…

If you haven't seen TNT's sci-fi series The Librarians, the season four premiere "The Librarians and the Dark Secret" might not be the best place to start. The show centers on "an ancient organization hidden beneath the Metropolitan Public Library dedicated to protecting an unknowing world from the secret, magical reality hidden all around." The season four premiere, which aired on December 13,…

Priest Kisses Man Who Came for Confession in Showtime Shocker

SMILF, what are we going to do with you? Writer and star Frankie Shaw clearly hates Christianity, as that theme comes through in nearly every single episode. In the pilot, her character Bridgette told her baby's father Rafi that prayer isn't allowed in her home and, just a couple of weeks ago, she suggested that the Virgin Mary was raped by the apostles in order to father Jesus Christ. In case…

WashPost Omits Virginia Abortion Mill Transformed Into Free Clinic
December 2nd, 2017 3:53 PM
Two years ago, I noted The Washington Post couldn’t find any staffers or any space to cover the closing of Amethyst Health Center for Women, the abortion clinic near my home in Manassas, Virginia. And now, the Post again could not find space when this former abortion clinic was blessed by the local Catholic bishop Michael Burbidge as the new Mother of Mercy Free Clinic. To pro-lifers, it felt…

Culture
November 3rd, 2017 11:26 PM
So far Fox’s The Exorcist has been flying just below the radar with its new season. However, considering its previous slip-ups regarding the Catholic faith, it was bound to mess up sooner or later. I am sad to report that this week is that time.

'Spotlight' Lecturers Give Harvey Weinstein a Pass
October 22nd, 2017 7:21 AM
Spotlight won an Oscar for best picture in 2016 for its portrayal of the clergy sexual abuse scandal in the Archdiocese of Boston. At least nine of those associated with this film have worked with Harvey Weinstein, yet eight have said nothing about his sexual abuse, and all nine refuse to indict Hollywood the way they have the Catholic Church.

Bozell & Graham Column: A Rerun of the 'DaVinci' Kook
October 7th, 2017 7:57 AM
Dan Brown, the author of The DaVinci Code, is back with another blockbuster anti-religion novel, and CBS Sunday Morning rolled out the red carpet on October 1 to honor him and his massive commercial success. The segment began with what he called his “fortress of gratitude” – his house loaded floor to ceiling, over several stories, with bookshelves....stuffed with copies of Dan Brown’s own books…

New York Times Celebrates Oscar Wilde as a 'Deity' of the Gay Religion
September 10th, 2017 4:06 PM
Friday’s New York Times carried a front-page article on the Weekend Arts II section on a “shrine” to the Irish author Oscar Wilde as a “martyr of gay rights.” Times writer Ted Loos played up how Wilde would be portrayed as a “deity” at a nominally Methodist church in Manhattan – albeit one with the motto “A Progressive and Radically Inclusive Expression of God’s Grace.”

Liberal TV loves to bash Christianity any opportunity it gets and Monday night’s episode of TBS’s People of Earth did not disappoint. The episode, titled “Gerry’s Return,” portrayed the relationship between a married woman and a priest that became sexual at the end of last season. One of the opening scenes of the episode had Chelsea (Tracee Chimo) enter the confessional to tell Father Doug (Oscar…

NPR Hypes Vatican-Approved Article Blasting 'Right-Wing' Catholics
August 7th, 2017 10:16 PM
NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday followed the lead of the New York Times and boosted a recent article published by an ally of Pope Francis that targeted "ultra-conservative" Catholics for forming a so-called "alliance of hate with evangelicals." Host Lulu Garcia Navarro turned to Joshua McElwee of the National Catholic Reporter for his analysis of the article, but failed to mention his publication's…

The Secular Media's Double Standard on 'Zero Tolerance' of Abuse
July 26th, 2017 12:57 PM
The media sported their real colors again as Cardinal George Pell was summoned to court in Melbourne, Australia, without knowing what the charges are or who the accusers are. But The New York Times fulminated anyway about how this will "test the credibility" of Pope Francis in dealing with sex-abuse allegations against the Catholic Church. To say that the pope's credibility is on the line is to…

NPR Sides With LGBT Activists Targeting 'Cruel' Catholic Bishop
June 24th, 2017 10:05 PM
NPR blatantly slanted a story against a Catholic bishop in Illinois who recently instructed his priests to deny the Eucharist, last rites, and funerals decree with quotes from four activists who dissent against the Catholic Church's teachings on sexuality. While the article included excerpts from the cleric's document, as well as from a statement from his diocese, they failed to interview anyone…
