Shortly after Sunday’s atrocious shooting at an Orlando gay nightclub, both celebrities and journalists took to Twitter to bring up a completely separate issue: abortion. 

The pro-life movement doesn’t just have science on its side. It also has heart. During Fox & Friends Thursday, co-host Ainsley Earhardt turned to the viral story of a mother who penned a “powerful message” to the doctor that suggested she abort her baby with Down syndrome. Earhardt invited the mother, Courtney Baker, on the show with her now 15-month-old daughter Emersyn (Emmy). 

MTV is partnering up with other organizations to teach young adults to Elect This – with “this” meaning a liberal agenda. On Wednesday, MTV publicized Elect This, its new initiative targeting millennial voters participating in the upcoming 2016 presidential election.

As liberals often do, Chelsea Handler exploited a group of young children for political gain. In the episode of Chelsea “Magic & GMOs with Lizzy Caplan, Bill Nye” on Netflix, she opened with a focus group of elementary-aged boys and girls.

Even jokes have their limits. During his show May 26, Conan O’Brien invited actress Natasha Leggero on his show. Recently converted to Judaism, Leggero praised her new religion for treating abortion as “cool” enough to have on “every Jewish holiday.” After all, she reasoned, it’s good to have a back-up to fall on, just like AAA for cars.

Reacting to Donald Trump’s extensive Thursday afternoon press conference in North Dakota, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews let slip that Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren enjoy friendly coverage from their buddies in the liberal media and especially if they debate Trump for charity.
