As the night wore on, the mood got more dire at MSNBC. As different contributors weighed in, the message was continually driven that President Joe Biden is in deep trouble after his performance in the first presidential general election debate. 

One of the repercussions of President Joe Biden’s catastrophic debate performance is that Vice President Kamala Harris was brought out to do cleanup media. The vice president sat down for an interview on MSNBC, where she and host Rachel Maddow talked mostly about the abortion portions of the debate.

While it was obvious to all that President Biden’s debate performance Thursday night was an unmitigated disaster that had Democrats scrambling behind the scenes for a new candidate, it wasn’t for CNN’s lack of skewing the debate questions in Biden’s favor. There was no question about President Joe Biden’s disastrous performance during the first 2024 presidential debate, Thursday night on CNN. Even NBC political director Chuck Todd could not hide his disgust and declared that the President looked like a conservative media “caricature.”

Following the first 2024 Presidential Debate, the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) had very little to say in President Joe Biden’s favor. The post-debate coverage emphasized what was obvious to all viewers, specifically that the night was a disaster for Biden’s campaign.

Less than a minute after the presidential debate concluded, the panel at MSNBC launched into a despondent, funereal analysis of President Joe Biden’s unexpectedly (at least for the MSNBC panel) brutal performance. 

The liberal media was finally forced to admit that the senile president wasn’t wearing clothes following Thursday’s presidential debate hosted by CNN. As a member of a predominantly liberal/pro-Biden panel, Republican commentator Scott Jennings took them all to tack for trying to prop up President Biden’s campaign and lying to the American people about how cogent he obviously wasn’t.

Moments after concluding their presidential debate Thursday night, CNN journalists were in a full-blown panic over President Biden’s performance. They were disturbed by Biden’s “problematic” and “dismal” performance and admitted they were hearing from very senior Democrats that they were seriously thinking about removing Biden from the top of the ticket.

Just before noon on Debate Day, CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer worried out loud about how Donald Trump may "go after Biden's family." That's how they describe raising the topic of Hunter Biden's international influence-peddling, with the millions in foreign money being distributed around many members of the Biden family. Republican analyst Scott Jennings suggested that's not a "mover" for voters.…

CNN drooled over the news that 16 leftist “Nobel” economists came out swinging in a letter against President Donald Trump’s economic agenda, labeling it as  — wait for it — an “inflation” threat. The network left out key context that blew up the supposed experts’ credibility.

On CNN This Morning, CNN commentator and Never Trumper Jonah Goldberg says that in watching the debate, voters will be asking themselves whether, if they elect Trump, "is it going to be four more years of him tweeting like an escaped monkey from a cocaine study?"

The United States Supreme Court issued an opinion today with far-reaching implications for free speech protections from government censorship via third parties. The network evening newscasts chose NOT to cover that ruling, choosing instead to cover an inadvertently-published and quickly retracted ruling on the left’s apex issue: abortion.

We've been clear that our expectations for Jake Tapper and Dana Bash in this CNN debate are low, considering their years of Trump-trashing antics. It's a little amazing that they are pledging in advance that they don't plan to "fact check" the candidates, because the moderators aren't "participating" in the debate. Don't buy it.
