On Saturday's edition of MSNBC's The Weekend, the three co-hosts and two guests all expressed support for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to supplant Gerry Connolly as the ranking minority member on the House Oversight Committee. Julian Castro hailed AOC's "fighting spirit." Michael Steele and Symone Sanders took some not-so-subtle shots at Nancy Pelosi for her support of Connolly.

One can never expect MSNBC's Joy Reid to be the level-headed voice of reason, but even by her standards, her Wednesday edition of The ReidOut was off the charts crazy. According to Reid, Tennessee’s law, currently being challenged at the Supreme Court, that forbids so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors is part of a Nazi-like tradition of targeting transgender people.

As a taxpayer-funded TV network, PBS should not be favoring one side over the other. But MRC analysts studying the use of labels over 18 months on the PBS News Hour found they were 27 times more likely to identify an "extreme" on the right than they would on the left. There were 162 extreme-right labels and only six extreme-left descriptions. 

President Joe Biden’s sudden and unexpected (by some) issuance of a broad pardon to his son Hunter continues to ripple throughout the political world. The PBS News Hour is pumping up the fear of Trump II, throwing out scary words like “fascist” to describe the incoming Trump administration, the latest example brought to you Wednesday evening by PBS’s most biased reporter Laura Barron-Lopez, and Yale University leftist professor Jason Stanley, who has been calling Trump a fascist without results for six years. 

On the PBS NewsHour on Friday, Washington Post and MSNBC opinionator Jonathan Capehart was liberal with his gratitude when asked what he was thankful for. Liberal, as in wow, he loves Kamala Harris, who he said “exemplified black excellence” as vice president and presidential candidate.
