Steve Schmidt has been reminded what it's like to be a Republican. The former GOP operative, who spent most of his time as an MSNBC analyst bashing the Republican Party, recently quit his own “bulls***” podcast after the show’s co-host grilled him on supporting a third party candidate.

If you grew tired of seeing Beto O’Rourke’s goofy grin everywhere during the 2018 midterm election cycle, then you’re in for a little more lefty superhero fatigue. HBO recently announced that it will be releasing a Beto O’Rourke documentary about the former punk rocker turned political “rockstar’s” failed Texas senatorial candidacy, giving viewers “intimate access” to his 2018 campaign.

On Monday, NBC’s Today show was excited by the prospect of Democrat “rising star” Beto O’Rourke holding a “counter-rally” to President Trump’s upcoming visit to the border in El Paso, Texas. As she promoted the former congressman and failed Senate candidate’s protest event, reporter Kristen Welker declared that it was “going to be quite a split screen.”
