Most of the people who appear on CNN are, unsurprisingly, liberals. However, every so often, a guest veers so far to the left that even the hosts are surprised by what that person says. That was the case on Wednesday morning, when Michaela Angela Davis responded to a question posed during the New Day program by co-host John Berman.

The idea promoted among the left that President Donald Trump is some sort of fascist is nothing new and the latest example of this comes from Vox co-founder Ezra Klein on May 28 in which he compares Trump to to fictional fascist president Charles Lindbergh in the late novelist Philip Roth's novel The Plot Against America:

Chris Matthews, obviously frustrated by the utter lack of any evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, tells an Adam Schiff staffer in private that he needs "something that leads to impeachment."
