Billionaire and free-speech warrior Elon Musk skewered the mindset of Disinformation Governance Board (DGB) leader Nina Jankowicz for suggesting a group of elites should be able to “add context” to other users’ tweets.

In a newly-surfaced video, Nina Jankowicz, the woman chosen by President Joe Biden to run DHS’s new Disinformation Governance Board, appears to suggest that others’ tweets should be edited by “verified” Twitter users – but, only by those she deems “legit.”

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) slammed the new Disinformation Governance Board on Fox News. “[W]e arrive at the truth through disputation,” Paul said during the interview. “Anybody who says we can do it by edict is somebody completely unaware of the idea and the concept of freedom of speech.”
