Mitchell Trashes Trump 'Endangering Troops' on Memorial Day

On her show Monday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell and her Democrat panel used the Memorial Day holiday to attack President Trump “endangering troops” by not wearing a mask, while simultaneously fawning over Joe Biden and daydreaming that he was president instead.

MSNBC Warns: Second Wave Is Coming for ‘Red America’ ‘Trump Voters'

It doesn’t seem that the media has learned anything after they completely mangled their predictions that red states like Florida and Georgia would see catastrophic consequences for opening up early. On MSNBC this afternoon, “conservative” analyst Rick Tyler was ready to make more hyperbolic predictions about red states getting “hit hard” by the coronavirus in coming months. Tyler even used the…

CNN Averaged 4 Minutes Per Day on Biden's Gaffe, Then Stopped Covering

As Fox News noted on Friday, it took CNN 12 hours to cover Biden’s latest gaffe: asserting on a radio show Friday morning that if you aren’t a Biden supporter, “You ain’t black.” That disinterest continued into the weeked; after spending average of less than four minutes per day on the controversy, CNN stopped covering it entirely as of noon EST on Monday, May 25.

FLASHBACK: Using Memorial Day to Trash Trump and Question 'Heroes'

This Memorial Day weekend, the MRC’s FLASHBACK series has already reminded you of MSNBC's Chris Hayes admitting he was “uncomfortable” referring to fallen military members as heroes. But there are other examples of the media using this holiday for their own purposes. On the 2019 Memorial Day edition of Morning Joe, co-host Mika Brzezinski tried (and failed) to get guests to use the day to trash…

Stelter Insists Media Acts in 'Good Faith,' As He Proves He Doesn't

CNN Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter said something fascinating on his show Sunday. He complained to New York Times media columnist Ben Smith that "I don't know how to show folk that journalists are mostly acting in good faith. Here's how a show allegedly focused on journalism fails to show good faith. Stelter had on a writer from The Atlantic to discuss the coronavirus and never whispered a…

CNN Brands President Trump a Hypocrite for Not Attending Church

A president can be an ardent defender of religious freedom without being overtly devout himself. But that didn't stop CNN from branding President Trump a hypocrite for having not attended church this weekend while having recently promoted the re-opening of houses of worship.

When Professors Deny Media Bias? Guess They Didn't READ Anything

Professors are often the first to try and deny the problem of media bias. Take the website The Conversation, with its motto "Academic rigor, journalistic flair." This recent article is lacking both of those: "Claims of ideological bias among the media may be overblown."  Here's the problem with bias-denying Experts: they don't actually read or watch the content.

NBC Admits Georgia Reopening Looks Successful So Far

On Saturday's NBC Nightly News, the show ran a report which surprisingly gave an upbeat assessment of the results Georgia has gotten in the four seeks since it reopened in spite of all the naysayers who warned of disaster. But, in spite of the criticism that Georgia's Republican governor, Brian Kemp, received a month ago that was mostly from the left, only a soundbite of President Donald Trump…

Charlamagne on MSNBC: Biden Apology 'Cool'—But What About Reparations?

On her MSNBC show, Joy Reid interviews Charlamagne Tha God, whose podcast interview with Joe Biden elicited the now notorious "you ain't black." Charlamagne says that Biden's apology was "cool," but what he really wants to know about is what Biden will do about reparations for black people.

Wallace, Goldberg Bash 'Twitter Troll' Press Secretary McEnany

Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace invited a panel to bash White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany because she had the courage to stand up to the opposition press. Between Wallace taking it personally and the Never-Trump editor-in-chief of The Dispatch, Jonah Goldberg attacking her, it was like watching CNN.

Chuck Todd Laments Biden Has to Answer for Racist Comment

In a tacit admission of how the Democratic Party thinks of the black community on Friday, presumptive nominee Joe Biden exclaimed that if a black person had to think about voting for him or President Trump, then their blackness was in question. By Sunday, NBC was tired of hearing the outrage at Biden’s blatantly racist remark with Sunday Today host Willie Geist huffing that Biden had to apologize…

Yahoo! Spreads Notion Virus 'Spiking' in Counties That Voted for Trump

An article on Yahoo! News uses a liberal think tank's number-crunching to report "Coronavirus is spiking disproportionately in counties that voted for Trump in 2016." Really? A look at some of these Trump-voting counties doesn't show a real pile of "hotspots." Using the measurement of case rates higher than 100 or more per 100,000 people isn't that useful.

Why Doesn't CNN Care When Anonymous Sources Give Them Fake News?

Far too much Washington journalism is reliant on anonymous sources, and the public has no earthly idea of the agendas and ideologies of the "senior government officials" or just "sources" who can be used to ruin a presidency or a congressional career. Larry O'Connor at Townhall threw a strong headline at Team Zucker: "CNN Was Used to Spread Lies And They're Just Fine with That."

Cuomo Brings on Discredited FL Employee to Spread Conspiracy Theory

Apparently, when he's not violating basic journalistic ethics by interviewing and goofing around his brother, CNN's Chris Cuomo thinks a productive use of his show is to bring on conspiracy theorists who pretend to be whistleblowers. That is, so long as they don't blow the whistle on his brother Andrew.
