Even with unsupported rumors swirling that the Federal Communications Commission was set to issue a ruling against The View’s purported “bona fide news program” status, things on the ABC News program continued to spiral out of control in a dangerous way. During Thursday’s show, there were more examples of stochastic terrorism as the cast accused President Trump having ICE agents “executing people on the streets,” trying to “stop the [midterm] election,” and acting how “dictators” do.

Fantasizing about what it would be like if Democrats took back the House and/or Senate, fake Republican Ana Navarro was interrupted by co-host Joy Behar with squawks of ‘impeachment.’ Navarro wasn’t sold on that possibility:

NAVARRO: He's not on the ballot this November, but he knows that if and when the Democrats when the House and/or Senate --

BEHAR: He's going to be impeached.

NAVARRO: This will finally - He’s not going to be impeached. Don’t say that. I don't believe that’s going to happen.

BEHAR: Why not?

NAVARRO: Because I don’t think they have the votes and they know that and they’re not going to spend the energy on that.

When she was finally allowed to finish her point, after dealing with Behar’s nagging interruptions, Navarro said she was looking forward to Democratic control so ICE agents would dragged before a congressional show trial for supposedly “executing people in the streets”:

What there is going to be is accountability. What there is going to be is hearings. What there is going to be is ICE agents and leaders of ICE brought in front of Congress and asked why they are executing people on the streets of America. What there is going to be is transparency and accountability and questions asked about the Trump crypto grift and the way they have monetized the presidency and made billions of dollars.

“So, this is why he wants to stop the election!” Behar interjected again with her own conspiratorial nonsense. “Yes!” Navarro agreed.

After they took jabs at Trump for his apparent belief he lost the 2020 election, moderator Whoopi Goldberg also engaged in stochastic terrorism when she suggested he was acting like an up-and-coming dictator:

GOLDBERG: And this is exactly how other countries have found themselves in the hands of dictators.

BEHAR: That’s right!

GOLDBERG: We have an opportunity to make that shift. It's up to us, you know?

Later in the day, an ICE facility in Phoenix, Arizona was shot at and the FBI was investigating.

The liberal media’s collective, incendiary rhetoric aimed at ICE and the rest of the Trump administration created the atmosphere that has stoked and motived such repeated attacks and assassination attempts.

ANA NAVARRO: He's not on the ballot this November, but he knows that if and when the Democrats when the House and/or Senate --

JOY BEHAR: He's going to be impeached.

NAVARRO: This will finally - He’s not going to be impeached. Don’t say that. I don't believe that’s going to happen.

BEHAR: Why not?

NAVARRO: Because I don’t think they have the votes and they know that and they’re not going to spend the energy on that. But what there is going to be -

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: Make your point. Make your point.

NAVARRO: What there is going to be is accountability.

JOY BEHAR: So, this is why he wants to stop the election!

NAVARRO: Yes!

BEHAR: And this is why everything he can.

GOLDBERG: That’s what she’s saying.

ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: For what it's worth, I actually do think that President Trump believes he won the 2020 election. I've waffled on this. But as time’s gone on -

BEHAR: Jesus, that’s scary.

HAINES: Did he change his story?!

FARAH GRIFFIN: In reading Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan’s reporting, I actually, truly believe when you repeat something enough and surround yourself by -

GOLDBERG: You believe it.

FARAH GRIFFIN: - people affirming it, I really do think that he believes it.

BEHAR: That Big Lie, it’s called.

ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: He believes it.

GOLDBERG: And people - And this is exactly how other countries have found themselves in the hands of dictators.

BEHAR: That’s right!

GOLDBERG: We have an opportunity to make that shift. It's up to us, you know?

BEHAR: [Inaudible]

GOLDBERG: We get what we vote for. We will get what we vote for.

We'll be right back.
