Late Monday night, a deranged gunman opened fire on students at Michigan State University, killing three and leaving five others in critical condition. On Tuesday evening, the three evening news broadcasts were quick to jump to their usual playbook of overblowing how frequent mass shootings in the United States are and turning to guests or victims to plea for gun control.
All three networks used completely dishonest and inflated statistics that there have been 67 mass shootings in the United States in 2023. Yet ABC's World News Tonight, CBS Evening News & NBC Nightly News had no interest in reporting that the gunman had his prior gun charge dismissed by a George Soros-backed prosecutor in the name of "race equity."
The only mention of the gunman even having a criminal history that banned him from owning a weapon came from NBC Nightly News when Maggie Vespa reported that "investigators highlighting Mcrae's record, most recently pleading guilty to a misdemeanor weapons charge in 2021."
From there, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel was exasperated that "he was ineligible to possess or purchase a firearm. So one of the things that we're going to need to know is how did he get that weapon?"
The only network that came close to reporting on the news that the Michigan State shooter had his prior felony gun charge dropped by a Soros-backed DA was NBC Nightly News. ABC's World News Tonight and CBS Evening News failed to mention this detail of his background. pic.twitter.com/7xkcJCxnot

Our friends at the Washington Free Beacon reported that the "gunman who killed three and wounded five others at Michigan State University on Monday would have been barred from owning a firearm at the time of the shooting had he not had felony gun charges dismissed by a progressive prosecutor."
The Free Beacon went on to reveal that "Anthony McRae was charged in June 2019 with illegally carrying a concealed handgun without a permit, but later had those charges dismissed by the office of Ingham County district attorney Carol Siemon (D.).
"Her office instead let McRae plead guilty to a lesser misdemeanor gun charge, and he served a little more than a year on probation, which ended May 2021. He initially faced up to five years in prison for the felony charge, the Detroit News reported," the Free Beacon added.
What's frightening about this was that the Free Beacon revealed that "Siemon is part of George Soros’s vast public safety network" which includes other radical left prosecutors like Philadelphia's Larry Krasner, Chicago's Kim Foxx, and Los Angeles' George Gascon.
This bias by omission by the three networks was made possible by Red Lobster on ABC, ADT on CBS, & Angi on NBC. Their information is linked.
