On Tuesday, Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin reported that the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) revealed that 12 people on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) terrorist watch list were arrested crossing the southern border into the United States from Mexico during the month of August. This brings the total number of illegal immigrants on the terror watch list crossing the border to 78 during the 2022 fiscal year. While Special Report, Fox News's flagship evening news broadcast reported on this frightening story, the three leftist evening news broadcasts ignored the news in favor of attacking Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) for sending migrants to white, elite liberal enclaves.
While ABC's World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News refused to do their jobs, Fox News Channel's Special Report reported on the national security threat at the top of the show with a report from chief White House correspondent Peter Doocy. "12 people arrested at the border in August are on the FBI's terrorist screening database. Among 78 so far this fiscal year. Triple the last five fiscal years combined which demonstrates that warnings have been ignored," Doocy reported.
He added that despite President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris's feckless pleas for the illegals not to come to the United States, "They’ve been coming in record numbers and Republican governors, including Florida's Ron DeSantis, believe flying migrants to blue districts inland is making a symbolic impact."
BREAKING: CBP reports there were 12 arrests of individuals on the FBI’s terror watchlist (TSDB) at the border in August, bringing the total for FY’22 to 78 so far. That is triple the previous 5 years combined. (26)— Bill Melugin (@BillFOXLA) September 20, 2022

Doocy ended his report by revealing that Biden has no interest in the domestic security of the United States by noting that "President Biden is now in New York City ahead of the United Nations general assembly and according to a briefing that we got from the national security adviser Jake Sullivan when talk turns to foreign policy, the President plans to focus more on stuff happening overseas as opposed to at the southern border."
This is how another major terrorist attack will happen. It only took 19 terrorists to kill nearly 3,000 Americans on September 11, 2001. What would 78 terrorists be capable of? These are only the ones Border Patrol caught at the border.
We have no idea how many were able to sneak in since Biden refuses to secure the border. The leftist media doesn't care because if God forbid something happens, they'll just blame Republicans.

FNC’s Special Report
6:01:01 p.m. Eastern
PETER DOOCY: The White House says they are aware that one of those planes carrying migrants may soon touch down at an airport near President Biden's beach house in Delaware. And, in the meantime, President Biden is telling us that the reason for this influx of migrants at the border is changing.
PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: There are fewer immigrants coming from Central America and from Mexico. This is a totally different circumstance.
PETER DOOCY: Totally different because Central America and Mexico are not in the so-called northern triangle the Vice President has been focusing on.
VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: The President asked me to take on the role of leadership in addressing the root causes of migration. And to focus on the northern triangle countries.
DOOCY: That would be El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala. Now it’s—
BIDEN: What's on my watch now is Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua.
DOOCY: 12 people arrested at the border in August are on the FBI's terrorist screening database. Among 78 so far this fiscal year. Triple the last five fiscal years combined which demonstrates that warnings have been ignored.
BIDEN: I can say quite clearly don't come.
HARRIS: Do not come. Do not come.
DOOCY: They’ve been coming in record numbers and Republican governors, including Florida's Ron DeSantis, believe flying migrants to blue districts inland is making a symbolic impact.
GOVERNOR RON DESANTIS: It's opening people's eyes to the solution which is let's have a secure border. Let's have remain in Mexico.
DOOCY: The White House claims they’re willing to talk to DeSantis and others.
KARINE JEAN-PIERRE: We’re always happy to have conversations about ways to further improve border processing.
DOOCY: So they are happy to have conversations but they haven't picked up the phone yet and it doesn't sound like that's coming soon.
JEAN-PIERRE: I mean, there's no understanding to be reached.
DOOCY: DeSantis argues the larger problem here is Biden's immigration policy.
DESANTIS: They will say like oh, you know, sending a bus from Texas is a stunt.
JEAN-PIERRE: Using them as a political stunt.
DESANTIS: The biggest stunt was Biden coming in as President and reversing Trump's policies just so he could virtue signal that he was against Trump.
DOOCY: The President himself laughing off questions about migrants landing in Delaware and offering DeSantis an invitation.
BIDEN: He should come visit. We have a beautiful shoreline.
DOOCY: President Biden is now in New York City ahead of the United Nations general assembly and according to a briefing that we got from the national security adviser Jake Sullivan when talk turns to foreign policy, the President plans to focus more on stuff happening overseas as opposed to at the southern border. Bret?
BRET BAIER: Peter Doocy live on the north lawn. Peter, thanks.
