On CNN’s “Thunderdome”, more commonly known as NewsNight with Abby Phillip, the conversation over the response to California’s catastrophic wildfires inevitably led to Donald Trump. To be more precise: pre-imputing a bad response to a man who is still days away from taking power as President of the United States.
Watch as Scott Jennings wrecks the Trump-deranged panel minus Congressman Dusty Johnson (R-SD) with a dose of reality:

SCOTT JENNINGS: I find- I find this conversation interesting because the current president is a Democrat. All of his appointees are Democrats. The leadership in California is all Democrats. We're doing a lot of doomcasting about what Donald Trump may or may not do, but there doesn't seem to be much accountability for what the current people in charge didn’t do that led to these issues, which I think the people of California should be asking those questions.
It was evident that this segment would quickly go downhill, given that host Abby Phillip teased it with “Donald Trump points the MAGA hose at liberals. Sure enough, a significant effort was made to deflect away from the Democrats currently in charge at the local and federal levels.
There was an overall sense of indignation at the fact that Trump has called for reforms in forestry management and in the availability of water for the fire hydrants. Now that the unthinkable has happened, the media resist engaging in those portions of Trump’s remarks except to dismiss them as politics.
But Jennings was having none of that. His quick reaction blew the narrative up and brought the spotlight back to those who warrant it- those incumbent Democrat elected officials who contributed to this disaster.
So much of what we see from the Regime Media on television news programing is narrative and propaganda. In this case, the attempted deflection of evident mismanagement on Trump and his supporters. That attack didn’t succeed. We’ll be on the lookout for the next one.
