Disgusting: CNN's Berman Mocks Members of Trump Team Contracting COVID

July 7th, 2020 2:30 PM

On Monday morning’s New Day, CNN hosts John Berman and Alisyn Camerota brought on chief political correspondent Dana Bash to spout Democratic propaganda about President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus. Berman was so nasty that he even joked about several members of the Trump campaign contracting the virus: “It is a traveling coronavirus road show from the Trump campaign right now around the country.”

Camerota broached the subject by enthusiastically announcing that several people who are close to Trump are sick:

By the way, Dana, the President's own inner circle is getting sick. I mean, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Don Jr.'s girlfriend, tested positive. Herman Cain, former presidential candidate, who went to that Tulsa rally, friend of President Trump’s, was hospitalized. I mean, do we know how they're doing? And this -- it couldn't be any closer at this point to the president's family and inner circle.

Bash then accused the Trump campaign of spreading the virus to others:

No, it couldn't. I'm not sure. It sounds like Herman Cain you know, is -- was hospitalized. We know -- we’re waiting to hear from the status of -- of -- of him, and with regard to Kimberly Guilfoyle and others around the president, I mean, what they keep arguing is oh, this is why the protocol at the White House and in and around the president is so different from everywhere else and everyone else, because we get tested all the time, but I -- Dr. Jha could speak to this. I just don't understand the logic in that protocol, in that yes, you're getting tested all the time, but by the time somebody like Kimberly Guilfoyle gets tested and it's positive, she has already been exposing other people. So the transmission has already occurred.

Berman then made an evil joke:

Kimberly Guilfoyle has been close there. It is a traveling coronavirus road show from the Trump campaign right now around the country. If you look at where it has been and the damage left in its wake, whether it be Tulsa, Phoenix and now in Montana as well.

So it’s funny when people get sick now? Does Berman hate Trump and Republicans so much that he thinks it’s funny that they have coronavirus? That is an extremely sick sense of humor then, especially since Berman spends a significant amount of each New Day broadcast covering the coronavirus. The left has become so hateful of Trump, that those around him having the coronavirus is a reason for them to celebrate.

This humor was extremely ironic coming from Berman, as he freaked out and clutched pearls over the joke that Trump made about testing at his Tulsa rally.

And blaming Trump rallies for spreading the coronavirus? They were much smaller than many of the Black Lives Matter protests, which CNN has praised. The virus must be a woke virus, which only transmits to Trump supporters.

CNN has become such a hateful, leftist network, that members of the Trump campaign catching COVID-19 is now a cause for levity.

This hateful propaganda was brought to viewers by Liberty Mutual and Tractor Supply.

ALISYN CAMEROTA:  By the way, Dana, the president's own inner circle is getting sick. I mean, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Don Jr.'s girlfriend --

DANA BASH (CNN CHIEF POLITICAL CORRESPONDENT): Yep.

CAMEROTA:  --tested positive. Herman Cain, former presidential candidate, who went to that Tulsa rally, friend of President Trump’s, was hospitalized. I mean, do we know how they're doing? And this -- it couldn't be any closer at this point to the president's family and inner circle.

JOHN BERMAN: Yeah, they’re -- they’re campaigns, the Montana governor campaign, Gianforte, has to suspend some of his activity because --

BASH: Exactly.

BERMAN: -- Kimberly Guilfoyle has been close there. It is a traveling coronavirus road show from the Trump campaign right now around the country. If you look at where it has been and the damage left in its wake, whether it be Tulsa, Phoenix and now in Montana as well. Dana Bash, thank you. Dr. Jha, always a pleasure. Thanks for being with us this morning.
