On Sunday's AM Joy on MSNBC, NBC News columnist Kurt Bardella was again excoriating Republicans and injecting race into a political discussion as the panel covered the sexual assaul accusations against U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
After suggesting that Fox News reacted positively to Kavanaugh's tesimony because they "love a white guy yelling," he went on to declare that Republicans want to "make America as white as humanly possible" and tell nonwhites to "sit down, shut up, and take it."
At 11:04 a.m. Eastern, after host Joy Reid recalled reports that Fox News hosts had a favorable reaction to Kavanaugh, Bardella cracked: "It just goes to show that on Fox, nobody loves a white guy yelling at people more than Fox News."
Host Reid soon sounded oblivious to the strong liberal bias of her own network -- especially her own show -- as she commented on the politics of Fox News:
Everybody understands what Fox News is -- it's a conservative news outlet -- its constituents serviced to, you know, say things that Republicans want to hear, right? That's their to do.
A bit later, she brought up commentary by Tucker Carlson in which the Fox News host defended Kavanaugh and suggested the judicial nominee was being made heroic to some Americans because of the attacks against him by Democrats as she suggested the Fox News host was referring to "white guys."
Bardella engaged in more race-baiting as he responded:
The entire orthodoxy of the Republican party under the Donald Trump era is all about old white guys still wanting their way. And every time anybody of a different creed, a different faith, a different skin color wants to have a piece of that pie, they get angry, and they want to snatch it right back. And that's what we saw play out on Fox News.
That's what we saw play out at the hearing with Lindsey Graham's outburst attacking the Senators -- attacking the Democratic members in an unprecedented way.
He soon added:
It's about "Make America great again," which we all know means, "Make America as white as humanly possible." And everything that's happened under the Trump administration in this era has been all about empowering white people and telling everyone else to sit down, shut up, and take it.
Last March, on the same show, Bardella provocatively cheered for Fox News viewers to "die off."
