After Monday’s regular airing of The Daily Show, Comedy Central followed up with a midnight special that featured Jordan Klepper traveling across the country to interview various MAGA people for the purposes of making them look foolish. However, when Klepper tried to defend Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico’s remarks about God being non-binary, it was him who looked rather foolish, as he could only respond by making penis jokes.
After one interviewee claimed Talarico’s remarks are a reason why he doesn’t support him, Klepper simply asked, “What is God?”
The man replied that “Nobody knows what God is.” Klepper, thinking he had his gotcha moment, shot back, “Oh, so God can't be—can't fit into one category?”
The Daily Show's Jordan Klepper tried really hard to defend James Talarico's comments about God being non-binary by arguing with a bunch of MAGA supporters, "So it would be ridiculous to put him into one category or another category? Because knowing—There should be a term for… pic.twitter.com/YoKnt1voNj

After the man agreed, Klepper continued trying to hint that Talarico was correct, “So it would be ridiculous to put him into one category or another category? Because knowing—There should be a term for that, if you can't put a God into one specific category?”
“Non-binary” is a human term meant to describe certain left-wing human attitudes towards gender. The fact that women are created in God’s image and therefore God has feminine characteristics does not make God “non-binary.” That would be like saying any woman who likes watching football is automatically “non-binary.”
Nevertheless, Klepper kept trying to force his narrative into existence. Asking the same question of a different man, he wondered, “So God doesn't have multiple sexes? What is God?”
The man proceeded to take Klepper to theological school, “He said, God is ‘I am.’ What is the gender of ‘I am’? It's a—why does there necessarily have to be a gender at all and have—” Klepper wondered, “Wasn't that the point Talarico was making?” as the man tersely replied, “No.”
Not getting anywhere, Klepper narrated, “But for some people, God isn't just a man. He's all man.”
After yet another man explained that “God is male,” Klepper inquired, “God is male? Okay. Where does it say God is male in the Bible?” The man explained the obvious, “Well, it's the Son of God. You say 'Son'; that means male, period.”
If people are going to play up the idea that Talarico went to seminary, they should know that Christianity teaches that God came to earth and lived, died, and was resurrected as human male. However, for Klepper this debunking of his narrative was just an opportunity to explore the idea that Christ had a penis, “So, he's got all the male parts and everything?”
Not seeing what the big deal was, the interviewee simply replied, “Obviously.” That led Klepper to follow up, “Yeah, yeah. Obviously. What's God packing?”
When some of his interviewees point out that the Son of God means that God lived as a male, Klepper just makes penis jokes, such as "So, he's got all the male parts and everything?," "But how big is that holy word?" and "Where in the Bible is it Johnson 3:16 that talks about… pic.twitter.com/a6peo5yQoy

As the man replied, “His holy word,” Klepper kept going with the penile references, “Unlimited value? Hoo-hoo-hoo. Don't shower next to that guy.”
While it is true that the first person of the Trinity is impossible for humans with limited brainpower to fully understand, God has given us metaphors to help us understand him better, which one woman alluded to when she told Klepper, “He's a man. God is the father. God is the father.”
Again, Klepper responded, “So God has the man parts?... How big is God's—”
The man who earlier said, “Nobody knows what God is,” this time told Klepper, “In the book of Genesis, God is preferred as a ‘He.’"
Yet again, Klepper wondered about God having “male parts,” to which the man replied, “I mean, there's only one way to find out, is when you meet him.”
Klepper found that response odd, “Are you hoping for that?” After the man said he was, Klepper asked, “That you'll meet him, and then you'll be like, ‘Show it to me?’” The man explained “not like that,” but Klepper persisted, “Where in the Bible—is it Johnson 3:16 that talks about whole size God thing?”
Wrapping it all up, Klepper unwittingly told on himself, “No? This is why you gotta come to Texas. 'Cause I gotta say, I spend a lot of time in church, and I assume you guys are— you're grappling with these issues all the time.”
Earlier in the special, Klepper mocked another voter claiming that he is concerned about men in women’s sports by suggesting the issue has no impact on his life. Putting aside that a society that can’t even get male-female distinctions correct is one that is doomed, Klepper apparently thinks you need to call everyone by their preferred pronouns. Everyone that is, except God.
