ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel took a more direct approach to his efforts to get Democrats elected on Thursday by urging his audience to not “go numb” and to make sure they vote.
The plea started with Kimmel once again trying to make himself the victim, “The White House also issued a not so fabulous statement today about me in response to my monologue. And to be honest, I'm not even sure which one pissed them off.”
Kimmel then read a statement from Spokesman Davis Ingle, whom he referred to as Davis Dingle, “One of the monologues prompted White House spokesboy Davis Dingle to say, ‘Jimmy Kimmel is a no-talent loser who has beclowned himself with tanking ratings and by spewing disgusting lies to his dwindling audience. He is so devoid of actual talent that nobody with any common sense would ever watch him unless it was to laugh at his miserable failures.’”
After trying to make himself a free speech martyr again for the White House's most recent criticism of him, Jimmy Kimmel urges viewers "Don't go numb. Take that dead feeling and use it to go to vote(dot)org. Make sure you're registered. Vote early if you can. You know what? Let's… pic.twitter.com/P9ewQvrQzc

He then retorted, “By the way, in case you were wondering what a person who uses the word ‘beclowned’ looks like? This is Davis Dingle, seen here clicking his pen moments before they buckled him into a booster seat on Air Force One. I'm sorry you don't think I have talent, Davis. Maybe you'll like this one. Give it a chance, okay? Just give it a chance. Here we go. Okay, what do Katie Zacharia and Pete Hegseth have in common? Neither one of them can pass a bar!”
After Kimmel played a clip of Trump saying the Iran War will end when he wants it to, Kimmel got to his campaign plea:
But for the time being, let's keep on keepin' on! Right? It is very easy to become numb to all. Today alone, we woke up to news that we're considering dropping the Mother of All Bombs on Iran. Homeland Security is trying to deport a U.S. congresswoman and Elon Musk is crippling Ukraine, and ICE refuses to wear body cameras while doing the important work of dragging parents away from their 5-year-olds. But don't go numb. Take that dead feeling and use it to go to vote.org. Make sure you're registered. Vote early if you can. You know what? Let's show the same level of passion for the midterms as we show to that fight Kelly Clarkson had with a bird in a store.
The “Mother of All Bombs” is just a nickname for the Massive Ordnance Air Blast, which is the largest non-nuclear bomb in the U.S. arsenal. It has been used in combat before, so it is not something worth freaking out over. Kimmel also oversimplified the part about ICE and body cameras, which makes sense because Ingle was correct to notice Kimmel’s propensity for falsehoods.

JIMMY KIMMEL: The White House also issued a not so fabulous statement today about me in response to my monologue. And to be honest, I'm not even sure which one pissed them off. One of the monologues prompted White House spokesboy Davis Dingle [ph] to say, "Jimmy Kimmel is a no-talent loser who has beclowned himself with tanking ratings and by spewing disgusting lies to his dwindling audience. He is so devoid of actual talent that nobody with any common sense would ever watch him unless it was to laugh at his miserable failures."
By the way, in case you were wondering what a person who uses the word "beclowned" looks like? This is Davis Dingle [ph], seen here clicking his pen moments before they buckled him into a booster seat on Air Force One. I'm sorry you don't think I have talent, Davis. Maybe you'll like this one. Give it a chance, okay? Just give it a chance. Here we go. Okay, what do Katie Zacharia and Pete Hegseth have in common? Neither one of them can pass a bar! [rim shot]
Come on, that's solid, right? If you didn't like that, you will for sure like this moment of beclownment, because this guy is funny.
DONALD TRUMP: People see what we've accomplished. It's never been—it's a golden age of America. And the Iran War will end very soon. It's going to end very soon, as soon as I want it to end, it’ll end.
KIMMEL: But for the time being, let's keep on keepin' on!
