Two wildly wrong climate predictions have anniversaries in June. And since ABC and NBC don’t like to be embarrassed by explaining away their botched global warming prognosticating, we’ll do it for them. 

It was exactly eight years ago, Memorial Day weekend 2012, that MSNBC's Chris Hayes admitted he was “uncomfortable” calling fallen military members “heroes.” Appearing on his weekend show Up With Chris Hayes, the host attempted to explain why the word hero bothers him so. 

This past week saw the media repeatedly attempt to connect conservatives and Republicans to a racist gunman who murdered ten African Americans in Buffalo, New York. This is a common move for journalists and it was 12 years ago next week that PBS insisted that Christians are slaughtering people “every day.”

Inflation is out of control, skyrocketing to a 40-year high. Is it any wonder that NBC went 260 days without saying the name “Hunter Biden?” The network is clearly in the tank for protecting Joe Biden from his troubled, sketchy son. But with NBC, it’s more than that. This network has been obsessed with the now-President for years.

With one disaster after another enveloping the Joe Biden and Democrats in 2022, it’s sometimes worth looking back on how it was unraveling exactly one year ago — despite the media’s efforts to protect Biden and his party. 

The devastating and all-too-real invasion of Ukraine by the Russians has galvanized the world. It also reminded some of a movie favorite of many Americans, one loathed by the media. Its plot?
