When a show begins with a main character looking at Jesus on a crucifix in a Catholic Church while snidely saying to Him, “Thanks for nothing,” you know right away that there is a clear anti-Catholic bias and that things will go downhill from there. So far Fox’s The Exorcist has been flying just below the radar with its new season. However, considering its previous slip-ups regarding the Catholic faith, it was bound to mess up sooner or later. I am sad to report that this week is that time.

Here I thought Hulu’s I Love You, America with Sarah Silverman was starting to wind down after its shocking premiere and dismal follow-up episodes. This recent week proves to me that I should never expect anything less than the awkward at best, outright dirty at worst “humor” that comes from Sarah Silverman.
