ABC’s new Roseanne spinoff comedy, The Conners, tackled the controversial topic of banning certain Halloween costumes that fall under the category of so-called “cultural appropriation” but acknowledged that cultural appropriation can actually be “cultural appreciation.”

Hollywood loves to lecture us on gun control but their shows are littered with violence, even normalizing school shootings and murder. This fall tv season has been no different with many shows showcasing gun violence while at the same time preaching gun control. Here are a few examples:

CW’s Supergirl is not just terrible at playing politics but at being subtle as well. First, it showed an image of Supergirl literally holding a flag in a hypocritical attempt to preach unity. Now, it presents the white male conservative-esque leader of an “Earth First” movement as the bad guy. I’ve seen DNC ads less partisan than this episode.

Thursday night, NBC’s comedy Superstore showed us just how far our politically correct society has gone with a Halloween costume contest.

The October 25 episode of Hulu’s I Love You, America with Sarah Silverman took a break from its usual diatribe of insulting Trump and conservatives. Just kidding.
