On her MSNBC show Saturday morning in a segment on Uvalde and its ramifications, Tiffany Cross and her two guests were in agreement [Cross at one point telling her guest that she's "preaching to the choir'] that  "at the very least "assault weapons should be "removed," and that we should be "disarming police, demilitarizing police, and abolishing policing as we know it."

MSNBC Cuts Off Trump, Claims He’s Giving ‘Campaign Rally Speech’

As President Trump was continuing to make remarks before signing an executive order implementing police reforms, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell cut off live coverage of the White House address, dismissing it as a “campaign rally speech.” She then lined up a panel of liberal guests to further denigrate the event and trash the president.

Scott promptly rejected the insulting suggestion.

During the weekend of Aug. 4-5 (and the preceding Friday night), 12 Chicagoans were shot dead, and 62 others were shot and wounded, the Chicago Tribune reported. Before last week's mayhem, 1,718 Chicagoans had been shot since the beginning of the year, and 306 had been murdered. Adding to this tragedy is the fact that Chicago's clearance rate is less than 15 percent.

That being said, the show apparently still has the time to shoe-horn a police brutality scene for us present-day Earthlings, as if any of us were begging for it.
