For much of Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning, various CNN and MSNBC hosts and contributors were seen freaking out over Attorney General Jeff Sessions playfully laughing along with audience members as they broke into a "Lock her up" chant at a Tuesday morning speaking event.

For those who follow this author on Twitter, you’ll find that I’m not a fan of Turning Point USA. That said, the liberal media’s fake news machine reared its head on Tuesday when numerous outlets falsely claimed Attorney General Jeff Sessions chanted the infamous “lock her up” chant about Hillary Clinton when prompted by students at their high school conference.

On Wednesday's New Day show, co-hosts John Berman, Erica Hill, and John Avlon took time to fret over a clip of Attorney General Jeff Sessions insightfully pointing out the hypocrisy of liberal elites who have gone wildly over the top in attacking the Trump administration for separating illegal immigrants from their children, as required by law.

Appearing as a guest on Sunday's AM Joy, race-obsessed MSNBC contributor Jason Johnson accused former FBI director James Comey of resenting Attorney General Loretta Lynch for being a "black woman boss," and then went on to accuse Trump administration members of being "terrorists" who "terrorize people into leaving the country" to promote "white nationalism."

Stephen Colbert not surprisingly has attempted to use his Catholic faith to make a political point, and unbeknownst to him, he failed at it. He was referring to the incidents at the border involving illegal immigrants and their children. Colbert called attention to how AG Jeff Sessions defended the government’s actions at the border with a quote from Romans.

The season finale of Showtime’s Billions culminated in U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) attempting to remove Trump appointed Attorney General Waylon “Jock” Jeffcoat (Clancy Brown) from office.
