While the White House is rewriting the definition of a recession, MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle used the Monday edition of The 11th Hour took the spin one step further and argued that the economy is actually on the upswing.

CNBC smacked down a Biden government official’s attempts to explain the president’s so-called “plan” to fight inflation.

Obama adviser Brian Deese was the subject of a fulsome New York Times profile by biased environmental reporter Coral Davenport and biased political profile writer Julie Hirschfeld Davis, who teamed up for "On Climate For Obama, Point Man Learns Fast," pitting lovable wonk Deese against the "anger" of Big Coal. And Deese is far from the first Obama staffer to get such favorable treatment.

You can't make this stuff up. The titled quote comes from a Bloomberg story today about new GM Chairman Ed Whitacre. You also can't make up most of the media's calm acceptance of yet another person heavily involved with running General Motors, aka Government Motors, who knows next to nothing about cars except as a consumer who drives them.
