It’s hard to say whether they sound more like exasperated kindergarten teachers or preachy DMV employees, but either way, it’s incredibly obnoxious. Since election night on Tuesday, the talking heads on establishment broadcast and cable networks have taken to pedantically scolding their viewers that “counting votes takes time,” “this is normal,” and everyone needs to please “calm down.”

In light of Ron DeSantis' overwhelming victory in Florida, in which he even carried traditional Democrat stronghold Miama-Dade, Morning Joe taunts Donald Trump, saying "this is Ron DeSantis' party now."

On Tuesday, MSNBC hosts Nicolle Wallace and Chris Jansing both picked up on misleading statistics trying to link high crime levels to Republicans. Without informing viewers that even Republican-leaning states have crime-ridden cities run by Democrats, both anchors recited a list of the top 10 states by crime rate in which most of the states are run by Republicans statewide.

Tiffany Cross, on her MSNBC show, after playing a clip of Tucker Carlson defending Kanye West against charges of being crazy, suggests that Carlson doesn't see Kanye as crazy because he is crazy himself. Michael Steele agrees with Cross, then warns Tucker not to criticize Cross.

Saturday’s edition of The Cross Connection with Tiffany Cross was a combination of outrageous and tragic as Republican women and minorities were accused of being tokens by former RNC chair Michael Steele and former GOP strategist Lucy Caldwell. Both missed the fact that their host is the same kind of person who would lobby such accusations at them not that long ago.

He will say that if jailed, he will have his supporters release copies of the documents to America's worst enemies: Iran, North Korea, China, and Russia. 

On Friday's Deadline: White House, MSNBC analyst (and long-ago chairman of the Republican National Committee) Michael Steele dramatically warned that Sen. Chuck Grassley demonstrated the Republican "infection" when he objected to a much more aggressive Internal Revenue Service marching out to audit small businesses.

On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough gloats over the FBI search of Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago. At one point, Scarborough screams at the camera: "No! Man! Is above the law!"  Scarborough also breaks out his shtick of repeatedly calling Trump and his followers "fascists."

If MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle is anything, it is that she is consistent in lamenting that voters do not understand that President Biden and the Democrats are not to blame for the country’s current economic woes.
