The liberal media doesn’t like the President. For that matter some in the conservative media don’t like the President either…yes, that means our friends at National Review and The Weekly Standard and doubtless a few others. There’s plenty of room for honest disagreement. 

In one of the more bizarre segments seen in the past several weeks on CNN — and in the context of recent events and broadcasts, that's saying something — CNN's International Diplomatic Editor Nic Robertson claimed on Thursday that German Chancellor Angela Merkel chose to hold the G-20 summit in Hamburg so that Trump could "hear the voices of dissent" from protesters.

The New York Times Used Trump’s overseas trip to pick on “right-wing” Poland and falsely suggest he’s the first president to criticize his country while overseas. CNN presidential historian Douglas Brinkley has been unhinged in offering deranged meltdowns before, but this one during Friday’s At This Hour was perhaps his worst. Whining about the lack of “climate activism” from the Trump administration, Brinkley bemoaned President Trump’s “embarrassing” G-20 trip leading to “a shrinking of American prestige.”

Poland’s President on Thursday dismissed as “fake news” media claims that his wife snubbed Donald Trump’s attempt at a handshake. Regarding hyperbolic stories in Newsweek, USA Today and by The Washington Post, President Andrzej Duda tweeted, “Contrary to some surprising reports my wife did shake hands with Mrs. and Mr. Trump @POTUS after a great visit. Let's FIGHT FAKE NEWS.” 

Appearing as a guest on Thursday's CNN Tonight, liberal New York Times columnist and CNN commentator Charles Blow managed to make a case that there is a liberal bias in the dominant media even while concluding that the liberal bias claim is "kind of false" as he asserted that there is actually an "urban media bias" instead. The New York Times on Thursday hyped CNN President Jeff Zucker as a man leading “the network against the leader of the free world.” But don’t get the impression that’s a bad thing. No, readers are told that CNN is different than “networks with an ideological bent in prime time.”

A new MSNBC promo aired during Thursday’s Hardball flaunted the bona fides of the liberal network’s far-left primetime pundits in taking on President Donald Trump, including the hilarious insinuation that they’re attacking him out of “love for the Constitution.”

Remember the important qualifier for officials to be subject to impeachment? High crimes and misdemeanors? According to Vanity Fair contributor, T.A. Frank, perhaps we should add "offensive" to the reasons for impeachment. Frank is honest in admitting that so far the Trump-Russia collusion theory has turned into a big nothingburger.

After sarcastically remarking that it was “refreshing” to hear to President Trump defend freedom of speech in his address to the people of Poland on Thursday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell lamented that “only a few hours earlier at a joint press conference, his first on the world stage, with Poland’s president, Mr. Trump returned to form, slamming the media.”

In the latest example of fake news, journalists on Thursday hyperventilated about a supposed dramatic snub of Donald Trump by Poland’s first lady. Agata Kornhauser-Duda, it seemed, refused to shake the hand of the President. Except, that’s not what happened. Mere seconds after shaking Melania Trump’s hands, Kornhauser-Duda and the President shared a warm embrace.
