In the middle of discussing the pipe bombs that were sent in the mail to several prominent Democrats this week on Thursday’s the View, co-host Meghan McCain had a come to Jesus moment and apologized for what she said about Hillary Clinton months ago on the show.

On Tuesday's The Situation Room, liberal CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin and correspondent Kaitlan Collins got into a surprising debate over whether it was appropriate for President Donald Trump to call himself a "nationalist" as Collins claimed that the word "nationalism" had become "like Hitler" while Toobin seemed out of character as he defended the President.

Reacting Wednesday night to the bombs sent to CNN and other Democrats, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews offered a bizarre take that invoked how next Wednesday is Halloween, blamed the President without evidence for being responsible for the bombs, and insinuated that he was akin to Adolf Hitler in the 1930s.

With investigators still trying to track down who sent bombs to CNN, the Clintons, and other prominent Democrats and still no motive in sight, liberal broadcast networks ABC and NBC put the blame squarely on President Trump’s shoulders during their Wednesday broadcasts. This, as they ignored attacks against members of the Republican Party around the country for weeks.

While reporting from outside the evacuated Time Warner building on Wednesday afternoon, CNN hosts Chris Cuomo and Brian Stelter asserted without evidence on those behind the bombs and heavy usage of the word “but” that it’s the President and “right-wing commentators” and “outlets” who should look at themselves in the mirror.

Wednesday has been a difficult day for the country with explosive, suspicious devices being sent to CNN, former Attorney General Eric Holder, Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters (CA), plus former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Amid Wednesday’s live breaking news coverage of authorities intercepting mail bombs sent to prominent Democrats and CNN’s New York City headquarters, MSNBC anchor Craig Melvin teed up a former Hillary Clinton aide to blame President Trump for the incidents without knowing who sent the explosives or why.
