As the House Oversight Committee investigates the federal government’s involvement in Big Tech’s censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, leftists and legacy media worked overtime to discredit the hearing.

Meta announced last month that former President Donald Trump’s accounts would be reinstated “in the coming weeks,” and today is the day.

On Wednesday the House Oversight Committee grilled former Twitter executives over their censorship and suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story, with two of the executives even admitting it was a mistake to have suppressed the story and suspended the New York Post for publishing and posting it on their platform. Predictably the three networks ignored the story.

NBC's Late Night host Seth Meyers proved on his Thursday show that he has no idea what cancel culture actually is as he accused Republicans of engaging in it as they pass various education laws and kick Rep. Ilhan Omar off the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough dumps on Ron DeSantis, describing him as someone who likes to feel tough by yelling at female reporters, but would be unable to take a punch from Donald Trump. Later, Scarborough hails Obamacare, noting how enrollment keeps "skyrocketing" and that it has made "an undeniable difference."

Fox News media reporter Joseph Wulfsohn found another metric for how late-night comedy is going soft on President Biden – the “cold open” skit on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. Even during the Biden presidency, they’ve had ten cold opens on Trump, and only seven on Biden. In the current season, there are four Trump skits, and only one Biden sketch.

The debaucherous, pornographic and exploitive drama Gossip Girl returned for a second season to continue poisoning the minds of its teen viewers, but thankfully the show has gotten the axe from HBO Max. (Get woke, go broke!) Not before ten episodes of explicit sex, drugs, and woke SJW politics aired to an impressionable, underage audience, though.
