Charles Krauthammer blasted Friday’s news that there are now over 90 million Americans no longer considered part of the workforce.
Appearing on Fox News’s Special Report, Krauthammer said, “This is what happens when you become a European-like country.”
CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: This is what happens when you become a European-like country. Europe has had exactly this kind of chronic unemployment for decades, and we haven't had it. It's now part of our lives, and I think it's because we have this incredibly slow recovery with a government that over-regulates. It’s been stifling the sort of natural energy of a free economy which is very strong in the U.S., and what we’re getting is this kind of stagnation.
