In just the last three weeks there have been three heinous truck driving crashes that have gone unreported by ABC, CBS, NBC. Why? Probably because they all involved illegals (or in one case a diversity lottery winner) who entered the U.S. during the Biden years.
The elitist media types at the broadcast networks don’t want to give the Trump administration any credit for their crackdown on states that were issuing commercial drivers licenses (CDLs) to reckless immigrant drivers who weren’t qualified to be behind big rigs.
MRC analysts looked at ABC, CBS and NBC’s evening and morning news programs (from July 4 through the morning of July 21) to see if there was any coverage of the recent crimes involving Biden Border Crisis-era immigrants who obtained CDLs.
The following are just three recent crimes that ABC, CBS, NBC aren’t telling their audiences about.
Illegal Immigrant Truck Driver Charged In Death of Pennsylvania State Trooper
Authorities have arrested Michael Bon, an illegal immigrant from Haiti, in connection with the crash that killed Pennsylvania State Trooper Michael Pahira Jr.

An illegal immigrant truck driver who authorities said remained in the U.S. despite being ordered to leave has been charged in the death of a Pennsylvania State Police trooper who had recently moved home to help care for his mother during her cancer treatment.
The crash is the latest in a series of fatal wrecks involving noncitizen commercial truck drivers that have prompted the Trump administration to tighten commercial driver's license rules.
Michael E. Pahira Jr., 44, was conducting a commercial vehicle inspection along Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County on Wednesday morning when another semi-truck left the roadway, struck his marked patrol vehicle and the truck he was inspecting before hitting the trooper, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Both semi-truck caught fire after the crash. Pahira later died at a local hospital.
The driver, identified as 33-year-old Michael Bon, a Haitian national living in Brockton, Massachusetts, was charged with homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, reckless driving and six additional lesser charges. He is being held at Schuylkill County Prison on $700,000 bail. His next court date is scheduled for July 15.
The Department of Homeland Security has lodged an immigration detainer against him.
Bon entered the United States through Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in July 2024 under the Biden administration's humanitarian parole program. He later applied for Temporary Protected Status, but the application was denied. DHS terminated his parole in June 2025 and ordered him to leave the country, but he remained in the United States.
While living in Massachusetts, Bon obtained a non-domiciled commercial driver's license in March 2025. The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles said he first qualified for the license in 2025 while he was authorized to work under federal law. It was renewed in February 2026 before the Trump administration directed states to stop issuing or renewing non-domiciled CDLs for drivers who no longer met federal eligibility requirements.
Pahira’s death comes as Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has made tightening commercial driver licensing rules a top priority following multiple fatal crashes involving non-domiciled CDL holders over the past two years.

Biden-Era Diversity Lottery Winner Kills UMass Soccer Player

An Uzbek commercial truck driver admitted to the United States via a diversity lottery killed a star college soccer goalie in Ohio over the weekend and had to use Google Translate to speak with state troopers who arrived at the deadly scene, sources told Fox News.
Bekhzod Asrarov, 42, rammed the back of a vehicle on Interstate 71 in Madison County, resulting in the death of Tobias "Toby" Forsythe, 21, who played goalkeeper for the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, Fox is told.
When Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers arrived at the scene, Asrarov, who holds a commercial driver's license (CDL) from Ohio, tried ripping off the dash camera and tried to destroy it by smashing it, sources said. He also tried to smash and destroy his three phones and his logging device, Fox is told.
Asrarov entered the United States during the Biden administration in 2024 via the diversity visa lottery program. “We cannot let truckers like Asrarov, who can’t read our road signs or speak to law enforcement, drive 80,000-pound rigs on America’s highways,” Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy wrote on X.

Illegal Immigrant Truck Driver Kills Three in Southern California Freeway Crash
On July 9, the New York Post reported:
An illegal immigrant from India, who entered the United States through the southern border under the Biden Administration, has pleaded guilty to his role in a devastating Southern California freeway crash that left three people dead.
Jashanpreet Singh, 21, pleaded guilty to three counts of felony vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence for the October 2025 eight-vehicle pileup on the westbound 10 Freeway in Ontario, according to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors said Singh, who was on drugs, was driving a semi-truck when traffic ahead slowed, but his rig failed to stop before plowing into seven other vehicles, three additional semi-trucks, two pickup trucks, and two passenger cars, triggering a catastrophic chain-reaction crash.
Three people were killed and four others were injured, including Singh and a mechanic who had been helping change a tire along the freeway shoulder, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Department of Homeland Security stated that Singh first entered the United States through the southern border in 2022 and was released into the country under the Biden Administration.
Following his October arrest, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement lodged an immigration detainer against him on charges including vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence.
The California Department of Motor Vehicles confirmed Singh held a California commercial driver’s license, NBC reported.
