Even when they finally talk about Democratic Party scandals, The View finds a way to shift the blame to someone else. The ABC News show spent part of Monday’s episode trying to make the case for Graham Platner, a Nazi and the presumptive Democratic Party nominee in the Senate race in Maine. According to some members of the cast, men in general were the problem with Platner’s infidelity. Additionally, one co-host still wanted her fellow Democrats to support Platner because “our country is in grave, grave peril” because of President Trump.
Finally getting to the Democrat’s scandal in their B-block, moderator Whoopi Goldberg scoffed at Platner’s cheating scandal and tried to make it an issue about ALL men, not just his problem. Even faux conservative co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin played along with her men bashing:
GOLDBERG: Welcome back. The controversies keep coming for Democratic senator -- Senate candidate graham planter on the heels of apologizing for a tattoo associated with Nazis, then offensive posts about a wounded U.S. soldier, now his wife Amy Gertner is responding to reports that she gave his campaign a heads up about her husband sending sexually explicit texts to several different women.
Baby, these men are having the hardest time. I mean, it doesn't even matter what side of the fence you are on. These men are just whipping and racing all through the place --
FARAH GRIFFIN: I know. Are men okay?
GOLDBERG: I know.
The View makes Nazi Graham Platner's (D-ME) cheating scandal about ALL men:

Following a clip of Platner’s wife whining about the attention her husband’s cheating had gotten, Goldberg suggested that the accusations weren’t true, but also men were the problem.
“So the Planters [sic] says the report isn't true. Now, who knows, but I just -- as I was looking at this I just thought does no -- and no shade, gentlemen, but it just feels like y'all are out of control,” she exclaimed. “Every time we turn around somebody has somebody else up against the wall and the bed.”
Fake Republican co-host Ana Navarro also seemed to agree with Goldberg’s condemnation of all men, and Goldberg pointed to Trump as a party to blame too:
NAVARRO: I think we feel like that because also this year we have seen a lot of out of control men.
GOLDBERG: A lot! Don't forget the one at the top.
NAVARRO: That's true, the one they all voted for. You know, all those bible-clutching Christians voted for the guy we all heard boast about sexual assault on video and tape.
Whoopi scoffs at the allegations and says "who knows" if Platner actually cheated on his wife (after noting his wife told the campaign).

She then puts it on ALL men again, saying they're all "out of control":

Co-host Sara Haines pushed back on Goldberg’s lie that the accusations weren’t real: "Not to make this political, I'm usually not the one who does that. But watching the video of the wife saying, 'you know, don't spend energy on these ads.' The problem with these ads is, they are true. These accusations are true."
Co-host Sunny Hostin also affirmed that the sexting messages were real. “The sexting with other women while married is definitely true because his wife is the person that gave the messages to his campaign to give them a heads up,” she noted, “Why would she lie about that? So that part is true.”
One would think that since, Hostin was the one who was chronically racially aggrieved and made everything about race, she would at least be one of the co-hosts to drop the Nazi like a hot potato. However, you’d be wrong.
Directly countering Whoopi Goldberg's suggesting that it's unclear if the sexting scandal was true, Sara Haines acknowledged that it is true, but falsely claims the things being said about James Talarico for "lies":

Hostin was “conflicted” about what to do with the Platner question. She acknowledged: “He's also made racist remarks against African Americans. So he's a cheater, he's an anti-Semite because the fact that he had that tattoo for 20 years and didn't know what it was is a lie. So he's a liar, a racist, an anti-Semite.”
But according to her, Democrats had to look past that and climb in bed with a Nazi, because orange man bad:
We have someone who has almost unbridled power in the White House at this point. There are no checks and balances and the only way that we can maybe bring a bit of our democracy back is by having a Congress that functions and that has this checks and balances. And I do think one of the only ways is to win that seat in Maine. And so I -- like Cory booker said, this is a concern, but our country is in grave, grave peril.
Sunny Hostin says she's "conflicted" with Nazi Platner. She says Dems need to back him for the seat because Trump has put America in "grave, grave peril."

Hostin also admits that the sexting scandal is true because his wife disclosed it, but Navarro still suggest it isn't true… pic.twitter.com/9rp0FTvHf1
“There are other paths and they don't have to go through Maine,” Farah Griffin tried to argue. “I'm not convinced,” Hostin bloviated.
Speaking of cheating, it’s worth looking back at how The View cast bragged about easy it would be to cheat on their husbands. If they really wanted to, of course.

GOLDBERG: So the Planters [sic] says the report isn't true. Now, who knows, but I just -- as I was looking at this I just thought does no -- and no shade, gentlemen, but it just feels like y'all are out of control!
SUNNY HOSTIN: I know.
GOLDBERG: Every time we turn around somebody has somebody else up against the wall and the bed. What is happening?
ANA NAVARRO: I think we feel like that because also this year we have seen a lot of out of control men.
GOLDBERG: A lot! Don't forget the one at the top.
NAVARRO: That's true, the one they all voted for. You know, all those bible-clutching Christians voted for the guy we all heard boast about sexual assault on video and tape. But forget that. Just in the last few months we've dealt with the Eric Swalwell scandal which was horrible and the scumbag from Texas - what was his name? Tony Gonzalez.
HOSTIN: Yeah.
NAVARRO: The Republican having the affair with his staffer. That was horrible.

SARA HAINES: Not to make this political, I'm usually not the one who does that. But watching the video of the wife saying, 'you know, don't spend energy on these ads.' The problem with these ads is, they are true. These accusations are true.
What they're doing to James Talarico in Texas are calling him things that he isn't. That's where you don't spend energy is on false information. But on this, I would argue you tell it like this is.
This is a character flaw. This isn't - He, Platner has said, you know, he did it -- I didn't mean it I've changed. This is a problem. The Purple Heart recipient, by the way, the video he insulted was a man who took fire to save his team and he said, 'this stupid guy should have died. It's only because they didn't have good aim that he's here.'
If you were capable of saying that at any time in your life, you've shown me who you are and I heard you. This man should be nowhere near Congress. We've already got a wealth of people we need out. We're not sending one like this in.
SUNNY HOSTIN: Yeah, you know, I am conflicted.
HAINES: Thank you.
[Applause]
HOSTIN: I am conflicted. They asked Cory booker how he felt about this because I think all the allegations are true. The sexting with other women while married is definitely true because his wife is the person that gave the messages to his campaign to give them a heads up. So the fact now that he's saying --
NAVARRO: I think she said -- she told the campaign.
HOSTIN: She told them.
NAVARRO: We haven't seen messages.
HOSTIN: But she disclosed it. Why would she lie about that? So that part is true. He's also made racist remarks against African Americans. So he's a cheater, he's an anti-Semite because the fact that he had that tattoo for 20 years and didn't know what it was is a lie. So he's a liar, a racist, an anti-Semite.
FARAH GRIFFIN: Homophobe.
HOSTIN: All the things but character does matter.
FARAH GRIFFIN: There are other paths and they don't have to go through Maine.
HOSITN: I'm not convinced.
