ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel recently told former First Lady Michelle Obama on her podcast that he must speak out about politics on his show because it is his moral obligation to speak out against what is going on in the country and that you should just shut up if you don’t like your comedy shows degenerating into DNC Talking Points Hour. If Wednesday’s show was any indication, Kimmel apparently believes that the way he will help save the country is by hyping the idea that protestors should throw dildos at ICE agents.
Kimmel began by lamenting, “You know, with all this madness happening, it's easy to forget that ICE is still out there rounding people up and sending them who the hell knows where.”

However, Kimmel saw good news out there too, “But there are also still Americans out there fighting the good fight. You know, in February, the protesters in Minneapolis held an event called Operation Dildo Blitz. They brought a battalion of rubber sex toys. Sometimes you have to fight dildos with dildos, and I guess this idea is catching on, because there have been dildo blitzes in—”
B-roll footage of protestors hitting a fence with dildos, sticking them on the hood of ICE vehicles in the middle of traffic, and agents clearing a driveway of thrown sex toys by kicking them out of the way began to play as Kimmel continued, “This is Los Angeles. There's a dildo blitz. That one is another one here in L.A. In Portland, Oregon, there were just dildos all over the place. Where they get these dildos, I don't know. Maybe from the Rudy Giuliani collection, but it’s a nice and harmless way to let ICE know what you think of them.”
It’s not all harmless. In Los Angeles, some dildo blitzers were arrested for blocking traffic, and in Minneapolis, other dildo-wielding protestors even harassed and attacked their own allies. Even if one grants that most dildo blitzers have not been arrested, the stunt is just dumb. Adults taunting law enforcement with sex toys does not ridicule law enforcement. It just makes the protestors look like clowns and not in the fun way.
