On Tuesday, The View continued with ABC’s full court press to mislead the public about what was actually happening in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Intentionally ignoring the riot at a hotel where Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were staying, an ICE agent getting his finger bitten off, an agent getting beating with shovels, and the other clashes with agents, moderator Whoopi Goldberg falsely claimed the residents of the far-left city never got violent and commended them for it.
To round out their opening “Hot Topics” conversation for the show, Goldberg wanted to give the residents of Minneapolis unearned praise.
“And I want to commend the people of Minneapolis,” she proclaimed. “I want to thank them. I want to thank them for not escalating this. And, you know, any number of things could have happened, buts people of Minneapolis made sure that it didn't.”
Adding: “They did the best they could to keep it, you know, to be able to go out and do what they wanted to do as citizens to protest. And I have to say they have kept the lid on and I am just -- I'm so proud of that state. I'm just proud of that state.”
Whoopi claims the resident of Minneapolis have not engaged in any violence or escalation against ICE:

Later in the program, The View teed up far-left Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro (PA) to lie about the violence only coming from ICE agents. He even suggested that the “mission” they were sent on by the Trump administration was “to violate people’s constitutional rights”:
NAVARRO: Before we get to your book we were just talking about what's happening in Minneapolis, what's happening in Minnesota. There's been yet another senseless killing. So, can we just get your reaction to what's happening? How you're feeling about it? How you see it as a governor yourself?
SHAPIRO: Well, it's obviously extremely disturbing. To me it is very clear that the mission the President and Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller and J.D. Vance and all of them sent these federal officials on is a mission to violate people's constitutional rights. And it is clear that the mission needs to be terminated immediately, period, hard stop.

Back here in reality, their claims were all bold-faced lies; attempts by the left and liberal elitist media to gaslight and trick the American public ahead of the midterms.
There was a copious amount of video evidence showing the leftist riot at the Home2Suits hotel where some ICE agents were staying, which left at least one agent bloody. Free Beacon journalist Jessica Costescu had even documented that a leftist extremist group had what amounted to a hit list of such hotel locations targeted by the group.
One ICE agent would reportedly lose his finger after a leftist lunatic bit it off. Another agent was attacked and beaten with shovels by several illegal immigrants from Venezuela. The attack only stopped after one of them was shot by the agent.
Perhaps Goldberg was just relieved that, so far, residents didn’t follow co-host Sara Haines’s advice from the previous day, when she justified people bringing firearms to use them against ICE.

ANA NAVARRO: We have a lot to get through.
GOV. JOSH SHAPIRO (D-PA): We do.
NAVARRO: So let’s get started.
