On Thursday, the Florida state legislature passed legislation which would put in place an abortion ban for unborn babies with detectable heartbeats. This major pro-life victory was celebrated by civilized people everywhere who realize how evil abortion is because of what it does to the most innocent among us. Meanwhile, the three evening news broadcasts were clearly upset over this victory for life.
ABC’s congressional correspondent Rachel Scott took to the airwaves on World News Tonight to bemoan the bill's passage. “Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, 14 states have ceased nearly all abortions,” Scott huffed.
She noted that “Florida [is] on track to become the 15th [state] after passing a six week abortion ban [which] Governor DeSantis said he’ll sign.”
She then talked to an abortionist who was Orwellianly described as an “Abortion care physician.” Putting aside the fact that abortion isn’t healthcare, it is murder, the abortionist cried to Scott about the following:
DR. SUJATHA PRABHAKARAN (“ABORTION CARE” PHYSICIAN): Every time I'm in the health center there is a patient, at least one if not multiple from all over the south east who traveled hundreds of miles to get their health care.
Over on CBS Evening News, anchor Norah O’Donnell solemnly reported on the “breaking news about abortion rights.” This was the first sentence she uttered and she already started lying. There’s no such thing as “abortion rights” since the word abortion appears nowhere in the constitution.
“Florida lawmakers today voted to ban abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. That’s before many women know they’re pregnant,” O’Donnell huffed.
In news that would be welcomed to most sane people, O’Donnell fretted that Roe v. Wade has now “triggered abortion bans in 13 states, including states in the south like Tennessee, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Florida will join Georgia now with this 6-week ban.”
Finally on NBC Nightly News, correspondent and daughter of radical leftist Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett, Laura Jarrett briefly reported on the Florida bill’s passage by hyping the leftist “anger erupting on the house floor” after “the Republican-controlled legislature passed a six-week abortion ban.”
This pro-abortion coverage on the three networks was made possible by Fidelity on ABC, Prudential on CBS, and Liberty Mutual on NBC. Their information is linked.

SEN. ERIN GRALL: Florida does not want to be a destination state for abortion.
SCOTT: We traveled there. Talking to health care providers who were already seeing a surge of out of state patients. Now bracing to turn most away.
DR. SUJATHA PRABHAKARAN (“ABORTION CARE” PHYSICIAN): Every time I'm in the health center there is a patient, at least one if not multiple from all over the south east who traveled hundreds of miles to get their health care.
SCOTT: The Department of Justice is expected to file that emergency appeal in the coming hours if the Supreme Court does not weigh in, those new restrictions will remain in place.

6:40:56 p.m. EasternNORAH O’DONNELL: Turn now to some breaking news about abortion rights. Florida lawmakers today voted to ban abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. That’s before many women know they’re pregnant. Governor Ron DeSantis, who was preparing a possible run for President, said he will sign the ban into law.
Patients from across the south had been traveling to Florida for abortions since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last June. That ruling triggered abortion bans in 13 states, including states in the south like Tennessee, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Florida will join Georgia now with this 6-week ban.

6:37:33 p.m. EasternLAURA JARRETT: While the fight continues in the courts, tonight a clash at the state house.
PRO-ABORTION PROTESTERS: Get off my back!
JARRETT: In Florida, anger erupting on the house floor.
FLORIDA LEGISLATURE CLERK: So the bill passes.
JARRETT: As the Republican-controlled legislature passed a six-week abortion ban headed to the governor's desk for signature soon.
LESTER HOLT: So Laura, when do all these restrictions take effect?
JARRETT: So those restrictions should begin early Saturday. I say should, because tonight a federal judge in a different case in Washington state reiterated that the Biden administration must not make any changes to the availability of this drug. The government will likely tell the U.S. Supreme Court, it simply cannot comply with all these conflicting rulings.
