Associate Editor Nick Fondacaro and I were back behind the microphones to kick off a new week, which began with a bombshell that the Biden Department of Energy believes it’s likely the COVID-19 pandemic was borne out of a lab leak.
As we saw with the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic and the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, the press seemed flat-footed in their lack of overtly biased coverage. Watch for this to change in the coming days as they rally to the defense of Fauci and co. and against those who’ve been highlighting the lab leak as a plausible explanation for three years.
We also discussed the initial media coverage as well as one new tidbit about the Asbury revival, the latest silliness from The View, and ABC becoming a Spiderman meme with their coverage lamenting the end of pandemic-era food stamps...while also trying to argue the economy’s in great shape.
And, for good measure, we teased the MRC’s presence at CPAC and told listeners to be sure to come say hi if you’re making the trip to National Harbor!
