During Monday's edition of ABC’s World News Tonight, the left-wing evening newscast ignored their own network’s poll which showed that 56 percent of Democrats want someone other than President Joe Biden to be their party’s standard bearer in the 2024 presidential election. This result, plus other findings of the poll, including Biden’s approval rating sinking to 39 percent, shows why ABC decided to bury the poll during their flagship nightly newscast.
While the network did briefly cover the poll on their Sunday evening newscast when most people are tuned out, the network wasted an opportunity to cover the poll on Monday night when more people are watching.
ABC instead decided to blame a drought in Somalia on "climate change," smear Italy's new PM as "ultra-conservative", and run footage of a train derailment in Colorado.
While World News Tonight was covering for their friends in the Biden administration, Fox News Channel’s Special Report covered the latest round of bad Biden poll numbers.
Giving the report for Fox’s Special Report newscast, chief White House correspondent Peter Doocy noted how “polls focused on the President are down,” and that “a new Washington Post/ABC News survey finds him with a 39 percent approval rating.”
“Just 35 percent of Democrats say they want Biden on the ballot in 2024. 56 percent say they’d favor someone else,” Doocy added.
Despite the ongoing media narrative that “abortion rights” are the top issue for voters after the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v Wade, Doocy reported that according to the Washington Post/ABC News poll, “the top four highly important issues per this Washington Post/ABC poll are the economy, education, inflation, and crime.”
Even former Biden White House press secretary Jen Psaki was forced to admit on Sunday’s Meet the Press that “if it is a referendum on the President, they will lose. And they know that.”
Despite this fact, the media and their Democrat friends would rather continue pushing the narrative that Biden is making a comeback in popularity and the overturn of Roe v Wade is putting Democrats on the verge of victory in the upcoming midterm elections.

6:03:41 p.m. EasternPETER DOOCY: Polls focused on the President are down. A new Washington Post ABC News survey finds him with a 39 percent approval rating. Even the White House officials insist their policies are winning people over.
KARINE JEAN PIERRE: You think about the pieces of, of legislation that we have passed they are very popular with the American people, with Republicans and Democrats.
DOOCY: As President Biden hosted the Atlanta Braves to celebrate their world series win.
PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: I know in Georgia you show up when it counts.
DOOCY: Just 35 percent of Democrats say they want Biden on the ballot in 2024. 56 percent say they’d favor someone else.
JIM ACOSTA: Should he take another stab at winning the White House?
SEN JOHN TESTER: So, it -- Jim, I would love to say yes or no. But, truly, it is not my call.
DOOCY: The former White House Press Secretary now warns this President could be a liability in the midterms.
JEN PSAKI: If it is a referendum on the President, they will lose. And they know that.
DOOCY: The top four highly important issues per this Washington Post ABC poll are the economy, education, inflation, and crime. Something White House officials are apparently aware of.
PSAKI: They also know that crime is a huge vulnerability for Democrats. I would say one of the biggest vulnerabilities.
DOOCY: White House officials dispute that.
JEAN PIERRE: Crime is complicated and multifaceted. Look, this is a President who has secured historic funding to make sure that law enforcement has what it needs.
DOOCY: But the impact of this President's policies are to be determined. Does President Biden think America's big cities are safe?
JEAN PIERRE: It is not a -- it is not a yes or no question.
DOOCY: It is a no by the numbers. Like the 20 percent increase in thefts and robberies in the first half of this year in America's major cities according to the Counsel on Criminal Justice. President Biden is not one of these Democrats calling to defund the police but that doesn't mean his plans are working. Bret?
