TV "news" stars are now insisting that there is "nothing" Biden can do to fix inflation, immigration, and crime. So why did they all suggest "the adults were back in charge?" CNN's John Harwood -- is he a White House reporter or a White House employee? -- penned a piece online headlined "Biden confronts a host of problems he can't do much to solve." He began:
There's just not much President Joe Biden can do about it.
There's not much he can do to curb inflation.
There's not much he can do to stop migrants from reaching America's southern border. Or to reduce crime, or to make vaccine resisters get shots that would hasten the end of the coronavirus pandemic....
He appeared Monday morning on CNN's Early Start and claimed you really couldn't pin anything on Biden that didn't start under Biden, and that problems were mysterious, like the murder rate spiked "for reasons we don't entirely understand." Never mind BLM or "defund the police."
ABC's George Stephanopoulos also pushed the "nothing Biden can do line" on inflation and immigration. MSNBC's Joe Scarborough lectured the Democrats for being terrible at politics, as if he were the Original Genius. He's smarter than everyone else, in his own mind.
CNN's Brian Stelter played dumb again on Sunday, wondering if it's really true that conservatives are censored more on Twitter -- which is like asking if the sky is blue. Enjoy the podcast below or wherever you listen to podcasts.
