Telemundo anchor Nacho Lozano was fine covering the recent Axios/Ipsos/Telemundo poll of Hispanics in the United States...until he realized it also polled abortion.
Watch as Lozano got into the nuances of the community and showcased the finding of opposition to a southern border wall, only to get testy when the abortion question didn't yield a result in line with his opinions:
NACHO LOZANO: And look, the interesting thing about this poll by Axios, Ipsos and Noticias Telemundo is that it reveals the dimensions that exist in Latino communities over the border wall, dimensions that have to do with opinions. Generally speaking, the majority of our community opposes the wall, but if you go through the data and look deep enough, when you break down the nationalities of the respondents, the differences are quite marked.
ARANXTA LOIZAGA: For example, 73 percent of Latinos of Mexican origin do not agree with this border wall
LOZANO: It is notable that 54% of respondents of Cuban origin do support it.

While Telemundo focused on the issue of immigration, via THE wall, immigration occupies the last place in a list of six top concerns of Latino/Hispanic Americans and even then, the border question is deceptively presented. Respondents weighed in on a potential wall encompassing the entire southern border and weren't asked about anything else.
This was done so as to frame Hispanics as being opposed to border security. "This isn’t something that we’re saying, it is something that has been proven by history. That walls do not work," Lozano went on. "On the contrary, with regard to the southern border, it makes human trafficking more expensive, unfortunately."
Then Lozano gets to abortion, which respondents said should be legal (40/36). Here, Lozano launches in defense of abortion: "And on the issue of Women's Rights Ara, they should be respected, not consulted." In other words -- shut up and do as Planned Parenthood says without asking any questions. There's your reminder that abortion is second only to immigration on the Latino networks' advocacy plate.
