Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is currently one of the most hated men in America. He’s been accused of racism, terrorism, nefarious plots (that is, putting ACB on the Supreme Court), and being incapable of acting like a decent human being. But since many of his haters are the news outlet announcers or left-wing actors who are proud members of Twitter’s woke community, he must be doing something right.
Two such actors, Ron Perlman and Bette Midler, recently posted crude insults on their Twitter accounts directed at McConnell. Perlman, whose legacy will probably be built more upon his crass Twitter activism than his actual film career, tweeted on November 3, “Mitch, you’re going to go down in the history books as one of the biggest cunts in US politics, and I’ve never seen anyone work harder for the title.”
This just for having different policy preferences. Perlman is throwing another slanderous fit on Twitter. Nothing new here.
Bette Midler, singer, songwriter, actress, author, and comedian, also had crude words for Mitch McConnell. She tweeted on December 4 that “#MeanMitchMcConnell doesn't want Americans to have a stimulus package. I'd like to kick him in his little package. (Apologies for obliging anyone to visualize Mitch's package.)”
Way to stand up for all the poor Americans who are being denied the money they so desperately need by big, fat, rich GOP bullies like McConnell. Don’t see any sparks of resentment lighting up in the future. Great way to build solidarity with the poor.
Like anybody would care. And anyway, stimulus packages might have been sent out earlier if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had been more cooperative.
If this is how wokes like Midler and Perlman feel about McConnell, one wonders what their reaction was when he got reelected. Needless to say, it was probably extreme outrage.
