Kanye West is back in the limelight once again, and though the world will focus on his strange and erratic political ambitions (he says he’s running for president this election cycle) his latest interview shows that he’s not done waging his war against the liberal group think and Democrat party policies he believes are destroying the African American community.
In an interview with Forbes Magazine, West of course explained his intentions behind the infamous July 4 tweet by which he announced his “run” for president this November, but more importantly, the billionaire rapper took aim at Planned Parenthood and abortion’s destruction of the black community and continued to preach about the need for our nation to turn back to God.
With all the Black Lives Matter talk of white supremacy, West threw it back in the left’s face, mentioning that abortion, one of the Democrat Party’s favorite policies, is a big method by which “white supremacists” have been doing real damage to the African American community. The rapper told Forbes, “Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work.”
This may have been a reference to Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger who had a history of “targeting African American communities” with birth-control.

He also told the magazine that he’s “pro-life” because “I’m following the word of the Bible.”
Again, Kanye claimed that the Democrat Party’s ideological hold over the black community in general is a form of “white supremacy.” He added, “That is a form of racism and white supremacy and white control to say that all Black people need to be Democrat and to assume that me running is me splitting the vote.” West seemed to be referencing leftist commentators who have assumed that Kanye’s election bid is an attempt to pull black votes away from Joe Biden.
He added, “that’s what the Democrats are doing, emotionally, to my people. Threatening them to the point where this white man can tell a Black man if you don’t vote for me, you’re not Black.” Of course, that was a thinly-veiled reference to Joe Biden’s “you ain’t black” gaffe from last May.
But what about the solution to the unrest following the George Floyd murder? Kanye didn’t bring up tearing down any statues or propose any ideas of race reparations like several of his famous friends. He went right back to God. “Well, God has already started the healing, this conversation alone is healing and revealing. We all need to start praying and kneeling,” West claimed with some improvised rap lyrics.
West also mentioned the importance of bringing prayer back into schools. “Reinstate in God’s state, in God’s country, the fear and love of God in all schools and organizations and you chill the fear and love of everything else,” the rapper said, adding that the removal of prayer from schools was “a plan by the devil” to destroy the youth.
West seemed determined to avoid some of the radical pitfalls of the current racial moment. He mentioned that a major focus of his presidency will be to move “past all the racism conversation.” And though Kanye claims that he’s moving on from Trump for his own White House bid, he admitted that “Trump is the closest president we’ve had in years to allowing God to still be part of the conversation.”
