MSNBC’s Chris Matthews was still hard at work making befuddling statements early Wednesday morning following the third installment of Super Tuesday with comments that mocked “neocons” as wanting everyone to go into battle “for Israel” as “blah, blah, blah” while fellow panelist Joy Reid attacked Rubio’s concession speech as unoriginal and mash-ups of Reagan and President Barack Obama.

While his MSNBC show PoliticsNation now resides on Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. Eastern, Al Sharpton has still been doing his best to accuse conservatives of racism at every turn and this Sunday’s edition was no different as he and his assembled panelists claimed that the right has done little to nothing to distance itself from Donald Trump. 

Senator Marco Rubio continued his participation in the anti-Donald Trump crusade against the liberal media on Tuesday in an MSNBC Town Hall as he pointed out that Trump has received far more media coverage than all his opponents combined and was buttressed by recent comments from CBS chief Les Moonves that Trump has been great for his network’s ratings.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning on MSNBC following the second edition of Super Tuesday, longtime Republican establishment operative and former McCain presidential campaign adviser Steve Schmidt warned his fellow cohorts to not wrestle the 2016 GOP presidential nod from Donald Trump because it’d danger the future of the party.

Liberal Hollywood actor Mark Ruffalo worked the spin room after Sunday’s Democratic presidential debate and appeared on MSNBC where he fomented praise for the “charming” and “fresh” socialist Senator Bernie Sanders who has both “awoke[n] something in me” and “speaks to me.”

In one of the more intriguing historical analogies you’ll see made in this presidential election, MSNBC’s The Last Word host Lawrence O’Donnell compared the 13 days until the March 15 Republican primaries that could decide whether or not Donald Trump is the GOP presidential nominee to the Cuban Missile Crisis from the 1960s.

Continuing to operate at full speed well past the 1:00 a.m. Eastern hour on Tuesday (10:00 p.m. Pacific), MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews attempted to analyze Donald Trump’s victory speech after winning the Nevada caucuses by comparing his interaction with supporters to the late Johnny Carson’s relationship with Tonight Show viewers.

Offering his initial thoughts on the NBC News projection just after midnight Wednesday that Donald Trump would win the Nevada caucuses, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews sought to diagnose Trump’s rise as going back to before the 2010 midterm elections and resulting in a 2016 in which “Trump is the name” for the “pain” of conservatives.

With Donald Trump winning on Saturday night in South Carolina, the liberal pundits of MSNBC commenced their latest efforts to tie Trump’s views and questioning President Barack Obama’s religion to the rest of the conservative movement as Andrea Mitchell whined that the collective GOP “is looking for is anyone who will absolutely be crude and rude and take on Barack Obama.”

Mary Poppins actor and 1960s television show host Dick Van Dyke joined Hardball host Chris Matthews just after the doors opened Saturday afternoon for the Nevada Democratic caucuses and before serenading Matthews with a tune from the famous 1964 film, he touted his support for “New Deal Democrat” Bernie Sanders.

While there were plenty of questions from the far left at Thursday’s Clinton-Sanders Town Hall on MSNBC, there were a few that snuck through that pushed both candidates with two such exchanges involving Hillary Clinton being cornered in relation to polls about her honesty and trustworthiness and releasing transcripts of her speaking fees to Wall Street firms.
