Numerous protestors for the pro-life group, Love Life, were arrested back in spring of 2020 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Just recently, a lawsuit settlement indicated that the arrest violated the First Amendment free speech rights of the protestors.

On Tuesday morning, NPR’s Morning Edition skipped over an inconvenient part of a leftist chant as they ripped down a statue honoring the Conferate soldier in Durham, North Carolina. Jeff Tiberii of NPR affiliate WUNC-FM began by reporting the protesters chanted "No KKK, No Fascist USA" bounced off the old county courthouse in Durham, leaving out the phrase "No Cops." Or the phrase "No Trump."

In a hostile exchange with North Carolina Republican Party executive director Dallas Woodhouse during MSNBC’s 2 p.m. ET hour on Monday, anchor Ali Velshi compared the state’s transgender bathroom bill to racial segregation in the 1940s and 1950s.

While ABC and CBS on Monday highlighted the fire bombing of a Republican Party headquarters in North Carolina as “political terrorism,” NBC only gave the story seconds and avoided using that phrase.  CBS This Morning opened the program with the story and reporter Jeff Pegues explained, “Local officials are calling the violence an act of political terrorism.” 

The North Carolina media have been predictably out of control since the state passed and signed the transgender bathroom law, but their behavior sunk even further following the Orlando terror attack when WRAL chief political correspondent Laura Leslie suggested backers of the law were to blame for the shooting because of their “rhetoric” “in the wake of this horrific anti-gay crime.”
