CNN’s Chris Cuomo on Tuesday discovered a new phrase that he could employ in deriding Donald Trump. The New Day anchor used it again and again, repeatedly wondering if the President is a “moral agent.” Talking about the President’s speech on Afghanistan, the journalist lectured, “Moral agency is about what comes out of you at your core. Several times since yesterday, CNN has presented viewers with dash cam video showing a police officer beating a black motorist because the motorist allegedly resisted arrest. But, just over a week ago, CNN showed no interest when video was released of a black police officer being shot and seriously injured by a suspect who was just recently convicted of attempted murder.  

While CNN is gung-ho in its relentless coverage and criticism of Tuesday’s press conference, the network’s apparently not as interested in correcting its liberal guests less than accurate characterizations of violent left-wing groups.  

According to CNN anchor Don Lemon, just working for Donald Trump makes you “complicit” in his racism. That goes for supporters as well. Appearing on New Day, Wednesday, he blasted anyone connected to the President: “Anyone who is in that White House and who is supporting him is complicit in their racism as well.”
