2016 Republican presidential candidate and Ohio Governor John Kasich, who has remained a critic of the Trump administration, fielded questions from New Day co-host Alisyn Camerota about a possible 2020 Presidential run on Tuesday.

The media has been hard at work discrediting and downplaying President Trump’s first State of the Union address before it even happens. The annual presidential address will happen tomorrow evening on January 30, but on CNN’s New Day Monday, the liberal network was already whining that whatever Trump said would have no impact, because his presidency was irredeemable, by this time anyway.

As Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney appeared as a guest on Tuesday's New Day, CNN host Chris Cuomo repeatedly lobbied for DACA to be extended to help illegal immigrants without tying it to improving border security, even as his GOP guest repeatedly made the argument against doing so.  

On Monday morning before the government shutdown ended, CNN’s New Day co-host Chris Cuomo sided with illegal immigrants and specifically DREAMers, arguing to White House director of legislative affairs Marc Short that addressing both border security and DACA shows that Republicans don’t truly care about these supposedly maligned group.

Friday's New Day displayed a rare example of a CNN anchor hitting liberal guests on the issue of conservative women not being welcome at so-called "women's marches" that actually advocate exclusively liberal public figures and positions on issues.
