On Thursday, NBC’s Today applauded a partisan political stunt by Democrats to exploit the Orlando terrorist attack and push their left-wing anti-gun agenda. Co-host Savannah Guthrie opened the show by breathlessly proclaiming: “Democrats take their fight for gun control late into night....A marathon session that ended just hours ago with a deal reached with Republicans to hold two key votes.”

Not only did NBC champion Democratic Senators for filibustering for gun control during Wednesday’s Nightly News, they also praise the late-night comedy shows for helping viewers. But what were the hosts really saying? “They're the funny men and women we turn to when we need to laugh, but there's been little to laugh about in the last few days,” stated host Lester Holt, “And now late-night hosts…

During their evening news coverage Wednesday NBC and CBS championed Senate Democrat Chris Murphy’s (Ct.) filibuster for movement on gun control legislation. Reporter Peter Alexander praised Murphy’s actions as, “a filibuster fueled by frustration,” on NBC’s Nightly News. “Democrats commandeering the Senate floor, trying to force a vote to toughen up gun laws,” Alexander continued. 

All the networks in the “big three” praised President Obama, during their evening shows on Tuesday, for taking the presumptive GOP nominee to task on how to fight the War on Terror. They all talked about Obama’s takedown in glowing terms, while pointing out how Donald Trump’s strategy breeds hate. NBC even saluted the Democratic Party for putting Obama and Hillary Clinton together to fight Trump…

The North Carolina media have been predictably out of control since the state passed and signed the transgender bathroom law, but their behavior sunk even further following the Orlando terror attack when WRAL chief political correspondent Laura Leslie suggested backers of the law were to blame for the shooting because of their “rhetoric” “in the wake of this horrific anti-gay crime.”

On Tuesday, both NBC’s Today and CBS This Morning actually promoted an offensive temper tantrum thrown by congressional Democrats in the House of Representatives on Monday during what was supposed to be a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the Orlando terrorist attack.

On Monday night and Tuesday morning, the “big three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC offered multiple segments decrying presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for revoking press credentials from The Washington Post while having the exact opposite reaction to three newspapers being banned from the Obama campaign press plane in 2008.
