The major networks were very eager to descend upon Springfield, Ohio and channel outrage over the “dogs and cats” controversy. However, the Regime Media do not share the same enthusiasm for more inconvenient immigration stories, such as those concerning violent Venezuelan transnational gang Tren de Aragua (TdA).

With the aftermath of the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump drawing significant coverage, the Springfield “dogs and cats” story is beginning to recede from view- except on CBS, which chose to flog the story for at least one more night.

On Wednesday, White House National Security Council communications adviser John Kirby inadvertently included Fox News Digital in a dismissive email ripping four military veterans on the 23rd anniversary of 9/11 as unworthy of responding to for their criticism of the Biden-Harris withdrawal from Afghanistan, adding they were merely a “‘handful’ of vets...and all of one stripe”.

It appears that NBC News has definitely settled on a post-debate angle. Having not been an active participant in the clinic on awful moderation put on by ABC, the Peacock Network is going with full-blown Swiftamania.
