During Sunday’s Meet the Press on NBC, newly hired MSNBC anchor Joshua Johnson (formerly with NPR) had a candid moment when he admitted the media took part in helping the DNC whip votes for Hillary Clinton in 2016, and implored his colleagues not to lobby for certain candidates in the 2020 Democratic primary.

Though the apparent attempt to rundown multiple Trump supporters registering voters in Florida happened Saturday afternoon, and drew outrage from both of the state’s senators and President Trump himself, the evening newscasts of ABC, CBS, and NBC completely ignored the vicious attack. Come Sunday morning, only NBC’s Sunday Today thought it was worth some airtime, but only 25-seconds worth.

The day after the Senate trial ended with a 52-48 vote in his favor, a triumphant President Trump appeared in the East Room of the White House and grinned as held aloft a copy of The Washington Post. The headline: “Trump Acquitted.” The President’s immediate audience of family, staff, plus his legal defense team and members/supporters from the House and Senate roared with laughter.

After being acquitted of the impeachment charges against him earlier in the week, President Trump apparently wanted to remove those who gleefully took part in the Democratic Party’s attempt to remove a duly elected president from office. Despite the fact they served at the pleasure of the President, all three of the broadcast networks were aghast that Trump would fire National Security Council…

The latest Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) report found that the Trump economy is continuing to pump jobs into the market. And yet, still no evidence of the recession the liberal media have been howling about. The most recent jobs report found that the U.S. economy added 225,000 nonfarm payroll jobs for the month of January, destroying economists’ expectations of 158,000 jobs

The CBS and NBC evening newscasts on Thursday complained about Donald Trump’s reaction to his impeachment acquittal. CBS called it a “stark contrast” to the dignified response by Bill Clinton. NBC fretted that the President “shattered the bipartisan tradition” of the National Prayer Breakfast. (Forgetting that Obama mixed politics too.) 

Immediately following President Trump’s White House address on Thursday in which he took a victory lap over his acquittal in the Senate impeachment trial, NBC went to work slamming the “diatribe” as a “greatest hits of grievances” and an event that “had to be exceedingly difficult for Democrats to watch.”

Following his vote to convict President Trump on the impeachment charge of abuse of power, which ultimately failed, NBC Nightly News made their feelings clear and gave Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) a hero’s welcome. In back-to-back segments, they praised him for “voting his conscience over his party” and dubbed him “the president of the Republican resistance to Donald Trump.”

NBC News reacted Tuesday night with disdain, disgust, and arguably venom toward President Donald Trump’s 2020 State of the Union address, kvetching that it was “campaign-like,” “confrontation,” “extraordinarily political,” “incredibly raucous,” “partisan,” and responsible for having created a “poisonous...atmosphere” in the House chamber. After talk radio host Rush Limbaugh disclosed on Monday that he had been diagnosed with late-stage lung cancer, on Tuesday, NBC’s Today show just couldn’t resist the urge to snipe at the conservative icon. In the midst of a report on the troubling health news, a vicious tweet was featured of a left-wing celebrity claiming that Limbaugh “doesn’t think poor people deserve” medical care.

The TV news media have declared the Iowa Democratic Caucus a disaster, after a series of technical failures prevented the Democratic Party from being able to determine a winner. Across cable and broadcast networks Tuesday morning, a throng of overtired journalists laid into the DNC with a combination of frustration, confusion, and relentless mockery.

On NBC’s Today show Tuesday morning, correspondent Cynthia McFadden seemed to mock Democrats for Monday night’s Iowa caucus debacle as she declared: “I think the headline is it wasn’t the Russians in this case. It appears to be the Democrats who did it to themselves.”

According to a new Media Research Center study, for each minute the broadcast evening newscasts spent talking about the President’s successful economic programs, viewers heard 77 minutes about the Democrats’ impeachment push, a massive disparity. Overall, coverage of the President was 93% negative during the last four months, reaching 95% negative in January 2020.
