The three network morning shows on Tuesday allowed a scant minute and 59 seconds to a lawsuit filed against Hillary Clinton by the grieving parents of Benghazi victims. This is out of a total of eight hours of possible air time. ABC, CBS and NBC are continuing their pattern of showing very little interest in Pat Smith, the mother who condemned Clinton at the Republican National Convention. 

Once again the broadcast networks showed that when it comes to economic news, they pick news that makes Obama look good. On Friday, all three morning shows dutifully touted President Obama’s defense of paying Iran $400 million on the same day Tehran released American hostages. Rather than hold the current president accountable for his highly questionable statements on the scandal, the broadcasts instead chose to hammer presidential candidate Donald Trump over a gaffe he made while reacting to the controversy.

Showing how much the liberal media is in the tank for Hillary Clinton in this election, reporters at the joint conference of National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Hispanic Journalists on Friday afternoon wildly applauded Clinton’s far-left answers to a slew of softball questions about immigration, the electorate, and even whether she has any black friends.

NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt disputed the notion that his network was responsible for Donald Trump nabbing the republican presidential nomination. "There's really not that much of a correlation between one and the other," Greenblatt said in reference to Trump’s appearance on television and his success as a presidential candidate.

While both NBC’s Today and CBS This Morning devoted full reports to The Wall Street Journal exposing the Obama administration secretly paying a $400 million ransom in cash to Iran to secure the release of American hostages, ABC’s Good Morning America only managed two news briefs on the topic that amounted to less than a minute of air time.

For the second day in a row, NBC on Wednesday ignored the high level firings at the Democratic National Committee. Politico hyped it as “heads roll at the DNC.” Yet, the four hour-long Today show found no time for it. Instead, reporter Hallie Jackson trumpeted a “civil war” within the Republican Party.
